Awful dealership. Be prepared to pay listing price, because negotiations are non-existent. Sidenote: The salesmen, Morgan, treated us respectfully and was knowledgable. This was the only OK part of the experience. TL;DR we were bullied and threatened. We were between two cars with very similar specs, were haggling with two dealerships for the best price. Medium demand high research buyer type. Morgan had us speak with his manager Paul Newman on the way out and that's when things went sour quickly. We were threatened, bullied, and argued with. While priding himself on his ability to market the car at a competitive price, in the same breath he announced that the car had been priced too low and if we did not make the purchase right then and there, they would raise the price when we left the facility. Morgan looked visibly uncomfortable. When left and immediately went to the other dealership where we got the exact price we wanted, out the door, and a much more customer service oriented experience. It was very apparent that we were not valued as potential customers, and we did not appreciate these black hat tactics to get us to purchase a car. These types of dealerships give other dealerships a bad name, and we are happy to have narrowly avoided casting our vote with our money for this dealership.
Mr. Walker, We're sorry the BMW did not work out for you, however, not all of your comments are correct. The first time you were here to test drive the vehicle, you brought up the smoke issue. We checked the vehicle into the shop that day and multiple technicians were unable to duplicate the smoke issue. After we contacted you and disclosed that we were unable to duplicate the issue, you expressed that you still were still interested. At this time we offered to take a deposit to secure the vehicle, which you declined. When you did come back into the dealership, there was another party here interested in the BMW. We still offered you first right of refusal as you were first to look at it, but you didnt bring in your trade vehicle. Without seeing your trade, we offered you a dollar amount you stated that it was too low, of course. We again asked for a deposit to reserve the BMW so you could go get your trade vehicle, again you declined. At that point, we sold the vehicle to the other interested party. After their personal mechanic gave the BMW the thumbs up they took delivery. The other party loves their vehicle; should we contact you if we get another X5?

Thanks for the feedback, Josh. We've attempted to reach you directly multiple times to discuss but have been unsuccessful in connecting. Could you please call us at 763-546-5577 and ask to speak with our Used Car Manager, Darrin?

I was able to find a solid price on a used car that I was excited to drive off the lot and will own for years to come. A couple of disappointing pieces of my experience: 1.) The remote starter wasnt working, and while my salesman put in satisfactory effort and was genuinely concerned about it, when he solicited the help of another staff member, that person told me to "Google it" in a dismissive tone and walked away. The remote starter issue was never resolved. 2.) The salesman indicated the tires were brand new although I felt the tread had worn (to the expected level for a vehicle with 36k miles). Upon reading the inspection notes, the paperwork indicated the tires were indeed aged to a level that will need to be addressed within the first year or two. Not unexpected for a used vehicle, but disappointing that in the sales process I was told incorrect information. Bottom line: If you can find the car you want at a good price, there is no reason to avoid this dealer, but it was not an exceptional experience or process.
