I live in Asheville and Greer is the closest Fiat Studio to me, around 60 miles away. Ive been to Benson Fiat 3 times. The first time was over a year ago when I had noticed a noise near the front right wheel, and also a rattling noise in the window. The window was just a loose screw, which they fixed, but they couldnt determine the cause of the wheel noise and said everything looked fine. I went a second time to get the air bag sensor fixed after a local oil change knocked it and the light came on. They fixed that without much problem. The third time I went because another local mechanic had finally diagnosed the wheel noise as a strut mount issue, and told me that there was also a bulletin out from Fiat about it. My appointment time was 10:30, and I was there slightly early. (Side note, each of the 3 times Ive been here they have assumed it is for an oil change even though I have never requested an oil change.) The service people who take the calls were not available, so someone told me to go ahead and go to the waiting area and that they would get it started. At noon someone came to me and asked, What parts did we order for you today? 1. I have no idea what parts you ordered for me and 2. Are you really just looking at my car after an hour and a half despite my appointment time and despite knowing that I drove in from Asheville? I told them that I had told them on the phone that there is likely a strut mount issue. They went to look and came back another 45 minutes or so later to let me know that there is no issue with my suspension and that I just need 4 new tires and an alignment. The reason that the tires have worn unevenly is because there is a strut mount issue, so when I had the tires rotated at my mechanic, the uneven wear was apparent and now makes road noise. Yes, I am due for new tires within the next couple of months, but those tires are not what is making the noise I was hearing. I declined their $500 tires and $90 alignment. I called Fiat Corporate to complain about the service, and they told me that all they could advise was for me to get a second opinion. I took the car to Fiat in Johnson City (an hour away in the other direction from Asheville) and sure enough, there is a strut mount issue and parts are being ordered. I could tell even from calling the Johnson City location that they were more interested in my customer experience; they asked questions on the phone, transferred me to the correct departments, and listened to my concern instead of just setting an appointment. I do not recommend Benson Fiat in Greer.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! These people will add an extended warranty on to your contract after you have negotiated. If you insist on going to this place, good luck. Read your contract multiple times and Trust nothing they say. This happened at this location and the one in Easley as well. Not once, but twice.

Tyler young sold me my used Dodge Ram at fiat and did a great job . Made it easy for me by answering every time I called with questions. Everyone here was great!
I recently purchased a Fiat 500x. Tyler Young was my salesmen. He was fantastic. There customer service is great from salesman to finance. I had written off "regular" dealerships because of the high pressure sales that normally take place. Thanks to my friend Tim Cousins, I gave Benson Fiat a chance. There was a minor issue that that happened when they were detailing my car, but Tyler made the entire process seamless. Derrick at the body shop was nice and squared me away quickly. Overall this was a great experience and I will spread the word to my friends and family.
