If there was an option for no stars, that is what I'd give them. First off, the salesman that was helping me it must have been his first week there. He sold the first two trucks I test drove then was told I had to wait until they got another truck from the warehouse a few days later. If it wasn't for me yelling at them, they wouldn't have given me a loaner car until the other truck was transported. Before I actually got the truck, I must've came into the dealership several times because each time the salesman did not have the proper paperwork for me when I called ahead on purpose to let them know what I needed, wanted, and was ready to sign off on the lease. Upon my first visit, I had told the salesman I would be back the next day and I had confirmed with him the day of. Well that didn't stop the secretary to leave FOUR voicemails (two on my cell phone and two on my work phone) confirming my appt. when I initially confirmed with the salesman. Is it really necessary to call someone FOUR TIMES on the SAME DAY? Let alone my work number. If I don't answer clearly I'm busy and if I really want to come back to your dealership you calling me several times is not going to make me want to approach you again. When a finally got the truck, it wasn't even detailed properly. There was still dust and window shavings on the truck. Now, it's been a month and still do not have my permanent registration. The only GOOD thing about my experience was the finance manager and getting three full years of free oil changes after all my aggrevation. NEVER AGAIN will I buy a vehicle from Atlantic Jeep in West Islip and will continue to tell everyone I know to not go there.
They worked well with me, and took my needs into consideration and secured the loan from the bank so I could purchase my new truck. It was ready when they said it would be, and they took it and filled up the tank even during the gas rationing so I wouldn't have to go myself.
The moment I walked into the showroom I realized this was the place to purchase my new vehicle. Great Energy! The entire staff from the Mgr. Mike to my salespersons Maryann & Eric made me feel that I was part of the Family. They had plenty of cars on site and where very patient and helpful in finding the car I wanted at a price that no other Dealer I visited came close too. Great job people. Now I no why you are part of the one and only AUTOGIANT!!!!! Anyone looking for a vehicle should definitely pay them a visit if they would like a Ritz Carlton experience with a great staff of people. I had bought the car from these guys and with it a extended warranty that was supposed to cover me up to 72,000 miles. Instead of covering me like they were supposed to they said that since i couldn't provide them with receipts for the oil changes i got in the past they can't cover the repairs on the engine. Never did it once say in the warranty that we need to provide them with receipts of every oil change, they just said to make sure we take care of the maintenance. I paid for $2,500 for the warranty and i was well below the 72,000 miles and now they are trying to charge me $6,500. What a useless ass warranty I AM NEVER GIVING THEM BUSINESS AGAIN. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
