THEY DID FAULTY WORK TO MY CAR AND THEY REFUSED TO FIX IT PROPERLY!!!! Please do yourself a favor and try all other Jaguar Dealerships for work needed on your vehicle!!!!!
This review is for service. In May '22 I was in the unfortunate position of having my '04 XJR failing to start. Also unfortunately, the failure was at about 6-7 pm (after service had closed as I heard from the automated line when I called before deciding to get the car towed to JLR West Columbia). Had the car towed in and wrote up what the car did and left key in drop box. Got a call from Tom in the morning who explained to me that this dealer no longer works on anything built PRIOR TO 2010. WHAT? I was understandably upset and the reasoning I got was because the dealer did not have the software capabilities or manufacturer support to work on a vehicle from 2004. What a sorry and unacceptable excuse. YOU'RE A DEALER. It shouldn't matter if a vehicle of your brand is from 2004 or 1964, you should be able to work on it. Period. Even the tow company had never heard something so ridiculous. A $200 tow was wasted and I had to get the car towed AGAIN to a different dealer. Luckily JLR Annapolis doesn't work by this unbelievable philosophy and I got the car fixed after getting it towed there. They were very good to work with. The only reason this is two stars instead of one is because Tom in service over the phone was a great guy and was very apologetic for the issue and my massive inconvenience. This was not his fault. My recommendation is to go to Annapolis if you like your cars to be dealer maintained...
I purchased a pre owned vehicle from this location a few weeks ago and I was very happy with the services! If youre in need for a new or pre owned vehicle, make sure to ask for Arnold.
As luxury dealer, their service is sub-human. First, the used car salesmen are REALLY pushy and they try selling cars by telling you they need to meet some quota for a month, and not by way of quality. Second, their service supervisor is a class A (fill-in the blank). My car had obvious problems right after purchase and they essentially told me to kick rocks. I had to threaten a lawsuit to get the repair done! Third, it took 5 months to get my payback difference back as well as a valid "We owe" refund for damage to the vehicle which they did not repair and I was forced to do myself. The kicker was they "didn't have record" of owing me anything, so the burden was on me and I had to produce all the paper work as proof again. Being frustrating and just a bad overall experience, never again with Jim Coleman...Their prices are good, but you will pay the difference in the lack of anything that looks like quality service which can count up significantly in years off your life in stress. Horrible horrible experiences.
