I live out of state and had a verbal contract with a deposit on a car that agreed to purchase at full asking price site unseen. After I sent all the information requested to the salesperson and was waiting on the paperwork, I received a call stating that they decided not to sell me the car due to an "open recall." When I asked if that was the dealership policy to refuse sale on vehicles with open recalls, the salesperson said no, they just decided they weren't going to sell it to me because of the risk. I can only assume that "risk" was that I would hold them responsible even after explaining that I was aware of the recall and was willing to sign saying I take full responsiblity. I believe the truth is they had a better offer or think they could do better on the car and used this as an excuse to back out of our contract. Apparently a deposit doesn't mean the same thing to these folks as it does to me. Be ware.

Service department was very unprofessional. The guy helping me didnt come see me before going out to my car knowing absolutely nothing of what I came in for. Ive brought my car to Infiniti a number of times and have never had this bad of an experience.
