While my buying experience was great, my service experience has been anything but. I purchased my Jeep SRT8 in 2010 and since then have brought it back to this dealership a few times. In owning other vehicles, including a Chrysler Aspen, I know first hand how service should be and its my fault for continuing to bring my vehicle there. On my last visit, I brought it in for several warranty items. My truck is only 2 years old and has 25K on it. I was told they would take a look and get back to me. They call me back and tell me I need new tires, which we had discussed when I brought it in and was even noted on my paperwork. After I tell him I will take care of them elsewhere, things really turned for the worst. It took me 4-6 calls and messages to hear back from anyone, at that point I was told they had to keep my car over night and to come get a rental. Upon showing up, I waited for almost 1.5 hours while they searched for someone to help me. Unacceptable. The next day, I leave 2 more messages and call another 4-6 calls. I do get a hold of my service guy to be told hes not sure and he'll get back to me. 3 hours later I get called and told my vehicle is ready. As I go to pick it up, they hand me a bill for 115. When I ask why, I'm told "his guys have to be paid" and "if I would have bought the tires from them, I wouldn't have got charged". I bring up the fact I told him about the tires when I first arrived and that tire checks are done routinely anyway. I'm told I can apply the amount to new tires if I'd like. I'm fairly upset at this point as I'm being charged to diagnose something I told them about...makes no sense to me. I pay the bill and take a seat while they "get" my car. Normal 3-5 minute process, well not at this dealership it seems. I see my service guy running round the lot asking everyone where my keys are. I'm genuinely concerned as I'm thinking they were joy riding with my truck at this point. Almost 40 minutes later, they finally locate my truck. Unacceptable. Because of the service and how many dealerships are in AZ, I will most likely never do service with Chapman again.

I am very satisfied with the service I received at Chapman VW. I had an issue with the alignment on my car and the service department acutally looked at it twice in detail to improve the issue. As a first time visitor to the Chapman VW servie department, I would definitely recommend it to a friend!

I went through the Car Buying Service from USAA and met with Tye who was so nice and NOT PUSHY! Easy to talk to and very relaxed which isn't something you see everyday in a sales man. This was my first car I've ever bought and they definitely made the experience an amazing one :-)

Took the 2003 PT Cruiser (44,000 miles on it) in for an oil change. Have had no real problems with the work they have done on the car in the past. The wait time (over an hour for an 'express' oil change) does seem a bit much, but looked into the garage and there were a bunch of other cars on the racks and stuff, so guess that is why. Seems like every time I go there, I have a long wait, though, so guess this was par for the course. Had a 25.00 'gift card' from Chrysler, so the oil change was less than 7.00 out of my pocket, which is good!! Could stand to get rid of that nasty piped in Muzak, though, but it is everywhere one goes, but that still does not make me like it.
