Hello. We are disappointed to see that you feel that your recent experience with our team was anything less than stellar. We empathize with any frustration that the lease terms did not coordinate with your time frame and we wish you much success in your search.

Poor customer service from the sales specialist. Thanks for making me decide to buy at another dealership.
Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. We are pleased to hear that parts of your experience were top notch but we do apologize that the entire experience was anything less than 100% satisfying.

Criswell is one of the large dealers in the DC area. They do have a wide collection of vehicles. My initial dialogue with the team at Criswell was smooth. Sales person was helpful with the negotiations. I was able to do negotiation through email and text messages. The process was much easier than what I was experiencing with couple of other dealers. I am not from DC and I took a rental car to the dealership to pickup my Levante. It was a rainy day and the sales person was kind enough to help me drop off my rental car. I was introduced to the finance manager, who could be little more warm and friendly. However, it didnt bother me as I was already done with my negotiation. I signed few documents as part of my lease and was out in 30 - 45 mins. I was told out of state registrations take little longer and I should expect to get my plates in 6 weeks. Though it was raining, my return trip back home was fun, enjoying the ride in my new vehicle. Next couple of days were wet and everything was good. By end of the week when the weather got better I started hearing noise when I apply the breaks. It was loud and made people turn the heads to look at the vehicle every time I applied the break. I called the dealership and was told to take it to the local dealer to address it. Service manager advised me that at times we hear the noise and performed the standard procedure (bed-in-the-brake) to take care off the noise. It took them about an hour. On my way back home, I heard the noise again. However, to my consolation, it wasnt as loud as it was few days earlier. After driving for couple of weeks, I noticed a pattern in the noise. When ever it rains, or my first ride in the morning, the brake didnt make noise. However, after driving for a while and the system has dried enough, it started making noise. I went to the dealership with the knowledge gained hoping to get this resolved. The service manager was surprised to hear that and performed the procedure once again. Unfortunately, it hasnt helped much. I continue to hear the noise every time when I brake. Two months passed by and I didnt hear back on the license plate. I reached out to Criswell regarding an update. They immediately extended my temporary registration and assured to follow up. A week later they informed me that their third party processing company is backed up and will get to it soon. I was not worried since I have a temporary plate. Another month passed by and I reached out again. They once again sent an extension overnight. A week later, the finance manager called me regarding the registration. I was told that I paid $390 short and I need to pay it to get the registration. I was little puzzled since I negotiated the drive off price. Finance manager was not willing to take that and sent me the documents that I signed which stated that the fee they collected is approximated and I would have to bear the actual cost. I may be alone in this, but when I negotiate a drive off price, they should have ensured the registration is fully covered. In my mind, they short changed on allocating to registration and allocated more to the sale price of the vehicle. Once again, I may be wrong. But thats the perception I got given the negotiation I did. Perhaps dealership should send us a sample document one or two days before we sign them - though it doesnt sound practical. Or may be stick with local dealership and adhere to the often preached advise - dont fall in love with the color / vehicle.
