Mark, Thank you for the review on the quality of repair. We gave you a two day quote without seeing the actual extent of the damage; two days is our average turnaround time for general ding repair. We apologize for the time that it took to repair your SUP, the delay was due to the extensive damage that was present when you brought the board to us-- we had to rebuild the entire tail and nose of the board. This is a very involved procedure that we could have cut corners on, but we pride ourselves in the quality of work we do. In the future, we will try to better communicate the process involved with such serious repairs. Thank you again for commenting on the quality of our work.

Don't go here for a repair. Was told it would take 2 days to repair my board, it ended up taking 9. I can only believe he lied because he wanted the business, and knew I would go somewhere else if I knew how long it would take. He had a bunch of excuses, I don't really care. Tell the truth! The board did come out well in the end, but his continued BS was really off-putting. I might not have been as harsh in this review if I got a discount for the 4X wait it took, but he charged me full price still for the repairs. Here is my payment back to you with this review.

I had to opportunity to get my very first surfing lesson with Rob this week and I really can't recommend him enough. I'm sure there are other good instructors in RI but I can't imagine anyone more positive, patient and knowledgeable than Rob. Not only was he able to quickly recognize where I was struggling and help me focus but he was just as invested as I was to stand up on that board... and I did! I honestly couldn't believe it. So thankful I chose Drift - such a positive experience.

I highly recommend coming to Drift and working with Rob if you are looking for a place to learn how to surf. Rob was incredibly patient and encouraging the whole time and celebrated every improvement. Rob's love for surfing is contagious and instantly recognizable, I definitely would recommend coming here for any of your surfing needs. I will be coming back soon!
