Fords of Winsford Reviews, FOW Reviews I will keep this brief, Part ex value not the best, though I was happy to do the deal. Bought car with just 14,000 miles on clock and also purchased FOW Gold warranty (550.00) Car I bought broke down after 2 hours use. They had it for 3 weeks and fixed it. Broke down 3 weeks later with same symptoms, though informed different issue. They did repair it. Broke down again a few months later, brakes seized. Called through and they weren't too bothered. Attempted to have it fixed under warranty, garage said callipers at fault, pistons failed. Callipers are covered in paper work. Warranty company did everything they could to get out of paying for it, they decided it was due to corrosion yet they had not seen them, they made the decision from a call centre in another part of the country. Got rid of the car in the end after 8 month's, lost 4500.00 in all combining repairs and the price I was forced to sell it at with its ongoing problems. Fords of Winsford Reviews, FOW Reviews
I feel Fords of Winsford have become a little complacent, with their"set prices". They need to realise that there are plenty of other Car Sales companies out there, including Arnold Clark(just along the road from F O W) where we bought a better model Astra, which was newer, in pristine condition, taxed and could be collected at our desired time & day.(unlike FOW) The difference in price was just 300 more than FOWs. Some of FOW's cars were badly scratched & chipped&the Sales reps seemed to think they were doing you the favour ,in rectifying the damage.?? I guess that Car Supermarkets(FOW) are not always the best place to shop to get a good deal. Steve & Julia Rushton
I loved this place. No salesmen hassling you. Look around to your hearts content. I bought a quality car, I've had it 15 months and it hasn't been a bit of trouble.
visited it three times in last month, salesman Chris was great, had a laugh as well, he did a good job with no pushing , made sure we were happy with the car, told him to fill it up ready to collect Fri, ha ha, . As i am getting on a bit, age wise, i have bought a few cars over the years from you. So hope this one is as good. A good day out without the rain. I suppose you will want my money now.?? I think the coffee was good as well, quite enjoyed it. Keep the good work up. cheers for now. Free coffee tomorrow.?? regards the Rev Father up.
Fair people to deal with, but you'll never get a discount. They won't budge. Not even a spare wheel chucked in to seal the deal. Got a good car for good price and they were courteous to my own arsey manner on a grumpy sunday morning. Be sure to give the car a good check for scrapes and faults and they will deal with them. Although their test drive route is very O.A.P, pretty happy with them all round. Very fuss free once it comes to purchase too. Anyone else miss the good ol' days of a two-hour haggle and whistling session ending with a bonecrushing handshake? Sigh...
