Turner Pest control is KILLING my grass. I hired them because my neighbor recommended them to me, and I didn't want my husband to come home from deployment to dead grass. Well, my grass is turning yellow, as are 2 of my neighbors who also have Turners. The tech told me that he isn't sure why and was going to throw a few things on it, well I now have brown dead spots, yellow spots, and fungus, and lets not talk about the weeds I have been getting.
Have had very good service. I get regular reports of services performed, which is important to us here as the monthly billing and service dates do not match up. So having a report each service is important to track what's been done and when. The technician who does our service is accurate and reliable. I chat occasionally, when he's here. Customer Service does not apparently track what areas are covered by the contract and relay that to the techs who come out. Turns out they claimed that the swale was not covered by my service contract. Apparently that's supposed to be an 'extra cost item' for which I think I'm paying. So I'm disputing that with sales and service. Tracking down that information is proving difficult at best. Taking off two stars. FYI, when getting a quote, be sure what's covered, get a drawing and that the status of that area done is shown on all service reports.
I am very happy with this service. I saw two live bugs in the new home I purchased within the first 4 days! After I called Turner on the 5th day of residence, I had no bugs over months and could enjoy my new home. I contracted with them for a year. The technician is good at what he does, very courteous and nice. I will probably continue over years...
We have been a Turner Pest Control customer for over five years now and they always deliver. We recently had some ants in our kitchen and they came out the next day after I called the afternoon before and did a treatment and it fixed the problem. We have the TurnerGuard Program that includes pest control and termite coverage on both our primary and rental home here in Jacksonville. We also have the lawn program at our primary residence and our lawn has never looked better. You dont have to be there for outside service but the technicians always knock on the door to see if you are home and if you are they give you a detailed report and tips if you are having problem areas. If we ever have issues inside we just call and they get out here quickly and resolve it immediately. The technicians are always professional, friendly and knowledgable and really seem to care. We can always count on Turner to get the job done right!
Mr. Drury - I am sorry to hear there was a misunderstanding between you and our customer service representative. Our quarterly pest control is a fixed cost based on square footage. However, if you have an infestation, there is an initial clean out fee, which is determined upon inspection. She did not realize you had an infestation issue until you called a second time and she started asking you questions and she by no means was trying to take advantage of you so we do apologize for the miscommunication. /ell I called 2 places just to compare, 1 told me they needed to come out so I set up appointment. Then I called TURNER the lady was nice and said my house was 2240 sq. ft. which is correct, so it would be $75 every 3 months. I said let the other guy come by and I am sure I will call you back and I asked if that was the only charge, her answer was yes. I called the other company and canceled the quote and called the lady at Turners back. I gave her my card # and then she started to add more charges to the total. I am not the one to be taken advantage of. That is wrong in so many different ways. this happened 11/9/2015 11:30 a.m.
