My 85 year old father was treated very poorly by a rude staff member who told him he needed to phone the shop, (he was standing in) to make an appointment. What he needed was assistance with a pair of broken glasses

Only problem there is lack of seats in waiting area and no toilets while waiting! Let's the place down.but staff a helpful and friendly.

After 45 years I needed glasses so went to specsavers as it's where my wife goes. Without going to in depth I had inital issues straight from receiving my first pair Had a retest and prescription was changed. 2nd set seemed fine for a few months (4) but I could then tell again something wasn't quite right. Retested again and again my prescription was changed. 3 prescriptions now over 4 months. Now here's the reason for mainly the 2 star review. You only get a 3 month grace period on your glasses. This meant for me to change the lenses in both sets was going to cost a further 138. I've only just paid 189 for frames, lenses and anti glare. Now for lenses and anti glare is 138. I was offered a small discount but it would've still cost approx 100. I was pretty disgusted by this so ended up returning all glasses I had for a full refund. Other issues I had on top of this was not being informed I could have a distance pair of specs. I also wasn't informed I could have a say in setting the distance I'd like to be able to read a book or tablet from. I had to use them around 8 inches from my face to be able to read anything. 1 pair of specs were lost during production. Things just didn't go well. Staff were helpful but I think by the end of it they were as sick of me as much as I was of going back and forth.
