UPDATE: One month later the client came in for a refund. This was the clients first tattoo and they were concerned with appearance of a still healing tattoo. Instead of contacting us to ask about its appearance they opted to write this review. The client came in and we asked to see the tattoo. It simply needed a touch up. The tattoo is in a difficult area to heal. When asked how much they paid they could not remember. Being such a traumatic experience you would think one would remember the price. I refunded them even knowing she misjudged a healing tattoo and simply required a touch up. A change of or removing the review would be appropriate. You apparently were highly traumatized by this experience. The photo of the tattoo is still healing as well. If that is what accurately happened It does not sound like our studio whatsoever but you are entitled to your opinion. I'm happy to return your money. I don't want it if you think we are so terrible and your experience left you emotionally scarred. I do apologize. You can get your money at any time. Thanks.

I had a terrible experience at Metamorph. If I could give it zero (or negative!) stars, I would. I scheduled an appointment here for myself and my sisters to get all of our first (and likely only) tattoos, in memory of my deceased grandfather who was like a father to us, so they were meant to be very meaningful. Before scheduling, I spoke to Derek on the phone to ensure our artists would be highly qualified with plenty of experience at Metamorph and to ensure we would have plenty of time for a consultation beforehand to make sure we were happy with the design and placement. Well, we felt rushed from the moment we walked in the door for our appointment. They seemed annoyed when we asked for edits on the design like trying different font, size, etc. Before we got them, they were even making comments about how they "need to hurry up because they have plans to get dinner soon." So unprofessional. Also, my artist (Ricky, do not recommend) was new... something I specifically asked ahead of time to not have. We also wanted a small design, but they told us they couldn't do anything smaller than about two inches. Despite feeling not totally ready and quite rushed, we got the tattoos (people pleaser problems lol REGRETS) and they turned out seriously so SMUDGED with really thick lines and overall just very different from the designs. It was just very poorly done. I mean, look at the attached picture and see for yourself how ugly it is - the words aren't even nearly centered because they took the shortcut route to save time bc they "didn't want to miss dinner"!!!!! They were so bad that we began the tattoo removal process as soon as we could afterwards. The tattoos were outrageously expensive, and now I have to pay for removal, too... but honestly worth it because I hate looking at it and just cannot wait to have this off of me. This whole experience was honestly traumatic, given how sentimental this tattoo was meant to be. My main advice would be to not go here if this is your first tattoo or if it means a lot to you. They were not patient, understanding, or considerate of the fact that this was our first tattoo, or that we wanted to really nail the vision. It seemed like they were trying to push us to 1. agree to their design choices and 2. go faster. In fact, I felt uncomfortable there rather than comfortable. I am honestly not only physically, but also emotionally, scarred from this place. Go somewhere else.

I got my first tattoo done by Jacob Kearney and it was a really positive experience. I came back a month later to get a moth done by David Joseph Kline for my birthday as a last minute walk in, and he did a phenomenal job as well. The entire place has a very welcoming atmosphere and clean professional look to it. Looking forward to going there next week for another Jacob Kearney tattoo! Many of my friends have gone to him as well and we are always floored by his work.
