Hi Chad, I'm sorry that you felt the need to leave us a 1 Star review. You called our offices asking for the cheapest office/commercial grade carpet and mentioned that you already have estimates from other flooring companies. We are a residential flooring store and not a commercial flooring store. Which means that we sell flooring to people with homes. That is why our salesman told you that we are not interested. We decided 25 yrs ago that we will never be the cheapest and selling quality flooring will be the major ingredient for our success. In the middle of a pandemic, we deemed it in the best interest of our customers and our sales people to not be put in a position of contact if we know we are not going to be able to fulfill the needs of the customer. Good luck and keep us in mind for quality flooring products for your home. Chris Brumley President
I would not recommend anybody purchase flooring from River City Flooring. I purchased 2701 sq. ft. of Happy Feet Mt Everest LVP in Harbour Grey color (20 year commercial warranty w 30 mil surface wear surface) from River City Flooring on 9/9/2019. I purchased flooring with this warranty because this was a commercial application with a lot of foot traffic. We had some problems recently with some of the plank edges coming apart in the entryway of the store. I sent pictures to his staff (Cindy) of the problems with the flooring and she was very professional thru communications but said ultimately this issue had to go thru Chis the owner. I tried to contact the Chris Brumley ( the owner) and he would not take or return my calls. After several attempts of calling the store and the owners cel phone I received an email from Chris saying that he could tell by the pics taken from my cel phone that the floors were not level and blamed the problem on the installers/ installation. No possible way he could tell from a pic taken from a 90 degree angle that the floors were not level. The problem with this was the guys that installed the flooring were the guys that work for Chris installing flooring still to this current day. Also LVP is not suppose to swell from moisture and this planking has swelled. Chris would not even contact the manufacturer to send a representative from Happy Feet out to look at the problem and no way he could tell from a pic that floors were not level. I would expect after a $12,000.00 purchase that he would at least come look at the problem or send a representative from Happy Feet to come look at the problem to make an accurate and definite assessment of the problem. The email from Chris said sorry and I hope you purchased enough extra flooring to make repairs to your floors. I finally hired the installers to come fix the flooring on my dime and when we took flooring apart to do repair we clearly notice swelling because old planking was a different size than new planking and it apparently had absorbed moisture. ( A definite quality problem with LVP when it suppose to be 100% waterproof) The installers were very professional and pointed out some clear problems with flooring from manufacturer. I assume Happy Feet will never have to warranty a claim because Chris the owner wont even contact them or look for himself. Lucky for me I did have enough extra flooring to make this repair but not sure what to do in the future. When Installed this was a $17,000.00 flooring job and I spent this kind of money on flooring because of the warranty which done us zero good. The installers were very knowledgeable and true professionals that have done several more jobs for me since with no problems at all. I would not recommend purchasing any flooring from River City Flooring. Once this store gets their money you are on your own.
Excellent experience refinishing my hardwood floors from getting the estimate, scheduling and the work itself. Everyone I interacted with was helpful. My floors look great!
I ordered flooring in December, it's now May and I don't have ally flooring. Yet, this company has all my money. I have even had owner Chris involved. Still no resolution. Please go elsewhere.
