In short - I highly recommend NeverLand Paragliding School! Stephen is very experienced and knowledgable instructor with refined sense of humor. He likes to teach and he does it very well. Stephen could point you out what was right or wrong in small details, something that could be unnoticed for other pilots. He is a good person with his own character, which I respect. Apart from paragliding Stephen is very passionate about healthy lifestyle and I appreciate him a ton for all information he gave me.
The guy knows his stuff. Class was informative and well presented. The experience was amazing. *but* the guy forgets everyone can see/hear him *all the time*. I'd recommend keeping your personal issues and considerable temper a bit more private!
I'm not even his student, but Stephen has helped me tremendously in my flying by pointing out what he observes me doing at the LZ and gives excellent feedback. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as an instructor, and although I have already paid for unlimited lessons from another instructor I plan to consult with Stephen and utilize him in my growth as a pilot in the future. He truly cares about transmitting his knowledge in flying to his students (and even not his students, such as myself) and it really shows. If you want to get better and can handle the critiquing, he'll help you excel rapidly.
Stephen is an incredibly accomplished pilot and has made learning paragliding very streamlined. I've been flying for a year now and thank the heavens for my training. DON'T TRY TO LEARN FROM YOUTUBE - everyone I've spoken to who is 'self-taught' has an injury in their history. (The few that still fly) Also, Stephen is based out of Andy Jackson Flight Park. Once you've learned here, other sites you visit are usually much easier. (for your pilot rating that is) Steve's lessons are worth many many times what he charges - you won't reget it. Build good habits from the start.
