Real estate in the Keys is pretty expensive, so we do have to fit a lot in a small space. We strive to be a full line Pet Store with live animals, not just a dog food store. Well since we only have Felix, our store cat, and no other cats in the store, the smell you might have incurred could be the anti viral disinfectant we are using. We are taking this health crisis seriously, and are cleaning the entire store daily with an anti viral disinfectant . we spray all doors, register areas, and commonly touched areas with this disinfectant. we also are all wearing masks for 8 hours a day, and require masks on all that enter the store. I have worked in animal rescue groups, and certainly know and dislike cat pee smell. But that smell does not exist in this store. Sorry that you were offended by our disinfectant usage.

Sorry that we missed you . I noticed that your review was on a Sunday. We tried being open on Sundays, but it is when most of our customers are out on the water, or with their families, and there just was not enough business to justify the payroll . We are a full line pet store , with animals, so it take usually 3 employees to run the store on a daily basis. I hope you come in when we are open, and we can help you with your pets needs. Glad that you found what you needed. You were in on Christmas eve, and we were very busy, with last minute customers, and tourists,, so that might be why we were hurried.. .
