Hi Peggy, my name is Lorelei and I am one of the owner's at SERVPRO of Northwest Portland. I am very concerned with your dissatisfaction and would love to meet for coffee. I tried to reach out via email, of course, I respect your decision not to respond. The reason I wanted to meet was to gain a better understanding of your concerns. Regardless of whether we connect or not, I wanted to let you know your invoice has been waived (trip charge and monitoring fees).

They were here at my home for one hour and billed me 5 times what the plumber billed for 3 hours. Very dissatisfied.
Mr. Waterman, Thank you for sharing your feedback. Were sorry your experience didnt match your expectations. We strive to provide transparent communication and we apologize if we were not clear when explaining that the water intrusion was still active and needed repaired first before we could continue mitigating your home. We asked for you to give us a call as soon as it was repaired and we would return, as we fully anticipated completing the mitigation of your home. We even helped provide guidance on how to use the small extractor that was rented. After a couple days went by without a call back, we reached out on several occasions and via voicemail and email, but did not receive any return calls or emails. Again, we apologize if we were not clear enough in explaining the above details while on site with you and your family. Please feel free to reach out to our General Manager, Jason Gomez with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. 503-283-3658

Would not give an hourly rate or estimate...took a deposit, and didn't complete the work. Left water in basement to do more damage, and had to finish the job myself. Kept my $500.00 deposit after 2.5 hours of work (again, did not finish and left water to do more damage!). Be warned!
I had the pleasure of working with Mason from the ServPro of NW Portland. Mason is a fantastic Project Manager who is a stellar communicator. He gets the job done and he does everything in a timely fashion. He always follows up and is extremely professional. During a very stressful time dealing with severe water damage and being displaced, Mason made the process manageable. He is a great leader to his team and always treats people with kindness. Thank you Mason!
Austin, we are very sorry for your loss and we are honored to be able to help you during this difficult time. Thank you for your sharing your review!

I experienced a fire at my house that took my mother's life and destroyed almost everything, I am still in the middle of dealing with this horrible reality and wanted to say that the team at ServPro have been so compassionate and caring and professional. Jesse was my first point of contact, followed by Martin and Mason B. who met me at the house to explain all the recovery process. Mason B. has been such a helpful professional to continue to contact me and explain every detail along the way. There is still a long road ahead to sort out this awful mess, but I know I have such a great team to help me and I can't thank them enough!
Lucas and his team did a great job communicating and handling the water damage cleanup. The reason why I'm giving one star is because of the management making this process extremely stressful for me and my family. It's already stressful enough being out of our house for 3 1/2 months due to an extensive remodel in regards to water damage, but the the lengths management has went to charge us more than the standard market rate is surprising and tiresome to deal with. Project coordinator Michael Sabatino initially asked me on multiple occasions to sign over my "insurance rights and direction of pay" (without considering my mortgage company) in order for ServePro to "represent me" and use that document as leverage in court to set a precedent for them to charge 30% higher than the standard market rate for the water mitigation and pack out job. After I refused to sign over my rights Mr. Sabatino sent email that threatened to, "begin legal action, collection action, filing of mechanic's liens, and applying interest charges on all unpaid balances." I've paid them the amount that was provided to me via State Farm, but they still want 30% more. One of the reasons they charge more than these other "mom & pop shops" as Mr. Sabatino put it, is because, "We're a bigger organization that requires more overhead." The work on my house will conclude in the next 48 hours, but our contents will be held in the ServePro NW warehouse for as long as Mr. Sabatino and upper management continue to squabble with State Farm over and additional $5,000. They are willing to spend more money on litigation (I assume) than what they are attempting to collect from me via State Farm. My wife gave birth to our third child one week after the initial water damage. All we want to do is finalize this process and go home. We hoped this would be a smooth process, but now our belongings will be held hostage due to the litigious leadership of Mr. Sabatino and the ServePro NW management.
