Took vehicle there after dealer told me it needed new engine. IT took the Wrench Connection FOUR DAYS (six if you include the weekend days) to give me AN ESTIMATE!! FOUR DAYS!! Furthermore, the Wrench Connections estimate for engine replacement was over $1000 MORE than dealership estimate (same brand -Jasper.) My experience was nothing like the other reviews posted here. Since my brief encounter with the Wrench Connection, I have been bombarded with review requests via email and conventional mail. Enough Already!
I have a 2005 Honda element. Its not hard to find things to fix on that vehicle. They fixed what I had requested they fix and didnt pressure me into spending any more than necessary. I will very likely return in the future
The Wrench Connection is what mechanic shops should all strive to be like. Honest, hard working and customer orientated. Rick is the epitome of customer service. While I will say The services were somewhat higher priced for a oil change and brake service. What you are paying for is quality and top notch service. So if you ever in need of any service on your car the Wrench Connection is what I would recommend. make an appointment cause they are that popular.
i once had good experience with Rick before, but my recent experience with this shop totally upend all my previous impression of them. the person (not Rick) at the front desk was unfriendly and treated the returning customer in an unacceptable manner even though they might be busy recently. my car has a broken boot of the power steering rack, i was told by this guy i need to replace the whole rack (coz boot and rack are together, can't just fix boot) + alignment totaling $1800, i mentioned i would like to have a second opinion on this since it is a big expense. i was asked to pay 60 bucks (btw, i paid 4 bucks of credit card transaction fee coz i don't have cash or check with me that day) for diagnose. i drove my car to another mechanic shop asking how much they would charge to replace the whole rack, luckily i met a honest and professional mechanic this time, he lifted the car there, took 5 mins for diagnosis, and told me i need to replace the boot not the whole rack, i ended up paying 200 to get the car fixed. on replaying their follow up survey email, i told them i am not happy for what happened and ask them to remove my information from their system, i don't want to deal with them any more, nor the junk emails from them as well.
