Hello McKenzie, I know that we have reached out recently regarding your review. We have tried calling you, but it seems you might have been busy at the time. We also reached out to the venue, who informed us that the DJ wasn't high but in a panic from a lost watch that the venue owner found and returned to the DJ. The coordinator also told the DJ not to turn the music down because it was unable to be heard in back of the venue. Music did stop between songs durning dinner because there was a delay between tracks, in which we apologize for. We are glad your brother had a great experience with us and apologize that it wasn't the same for you.

We booked with DJ connection because they were amazing at my brothers wedding. We were completely let down at our own wedding. The DJ we had was not dressed professionally at all, his clothes were completely wrinkled. The transitions between songs at the ceremony were very choppy and did not sound good. When the reception started his job was to play the music we asked him to play and call our tables to join the buffet line. After about 10 minutes of no tables being called when everyone was already sitting down and waiting we noticed he was nowhere to be found. Our venue owner went to look for him while our coordinator called tables and put on music (because he did not have any playing). When he was found our venue owner thought he was high because his excuse for leaving was that he lost his Apple Watch and he had to go find it at the ceremony site. When he finally got music going it was not what we had wanted for dinner time it was music we had planned to play during open dance. My mom asked him if he could turn the music down slightly because the speaker was right behind my grandparents and he lied to her and said the bride and groom told me that I couldnt turn it down (we literally never told him that) Throughout the rest of the night he disappeared again multiple times and he was found at his car during one of the times? I understand if he had to take a break but he never told anyone and because of this songs repeated multiple times. He did nothing to hype up the crowd. I could have basically put my Spotify on shuffle and it would have been the same as his DJ-ing. I would not recommend this company to anyone because of how poor our experience was.

Hello Kiele, we are so glad that Katasha did such a great job at your wedding! As for the issues that you brought up, I went back and looked at your contract and there were no changes to it reflecting anything you mentioned in your review. In one the emails you sent when you were booking you requested 2 specific djs but then the email from 12 days out asked for 2 different DJs. We put Katasha on the event because she always does a great job and was the best fit for the music and style of your party. I'm sorry about the added stress that the last few weeks of planning might have caused.

This is a review for our WEDDING occurring September 10th, and how the company handled the entire contract. After our initial phone call with the company, they confirmed in writing that they would put the names of our two requested DJ's on our account, and put us in contact with our DJ prior to our event. I had to reach out to them 12 days prior to the event as we had not heard who our DJ would be (promised in the contract that this would be provided a MINIMUM of 14 days prior to our event). The "Regional Manager", Billy, then called and emailed me in response (only THREE DAYS before our event) stating they did not have record of us requesting any DJ's by name but the ones we provided in the email sent 12 days prior to our wedding were no longer available because they had been booked for other events, or other reasons (we submitted the names in our initial phone call 7 months before the event). I responded to Billy the day he reached out (less than an hour after he contacted me), two days later (the day before our event), and the day of the event. As of today, exactly 14 days after our event, Billy or any member of their team still has yet to make contact of any kind. Only saving grace of this entire ordeal is that our independent contractor that they hired for our event, Katasha, was AMAZING. I will hire her separately for any event I host in the future, but will NEVER work with DJ Connection again.

I cannot say enough great things about DJ Connection. They were amazing to work with even when we couldn't find a song. They were able to play music so my vocalist could still sing. Our DJ was able to read the audience and knew exactly what to play to keep the dances going! We got so many compliments during and after our wedding about how awesome the DJ was. He even got out on the dance floor with us to get some dancing going!! Would highly recommend DJ connection!

The DJ made the night unpleasant for the groom and the father of the bride, and everyone was unhappy with him by the end of the night. Despite being given a playlist, he played different songs entirely. This includes playing the WRONG song for the First Dance (very disappointing for the couple) and played the wrong music as the bride walked down the aisle. When the father of the bride asked the DJ to please play the playlist he was given, the DJ became confrontational and walked away from the father, refusing to play what he was asked to play. When the groom himself approached the DJ, the DJ was rude and again confrontational. Rather than making the night fun and memorable, this DJ made it about himself. Hire this company at your own risk.
