I attended a wedding on 6/2/2022 and DJ Connection was the service for the reception and WOW what a wonderful job Jonah did. He was so attentive and on top of everything. His personal attention to each of the speakers and each of the moments was incredible. He made sure the timing was on point! Jonah THANK YOU SO MUCH for bringing your musical magic to such a special day!

We apologize for an inconvenience we may have caused but we have reached out serval times . We offered a refund to the client only not to hear from her until this review. We admit that the DJ had the wrong version of the song which was never specified, we do include dance floor lights that light up the room and move to the music. And yes there where some requests that weren't taken but we try to avoid inappropriate songs if we don't have a clean version.

The have ok staff when you're booking... and send the worst staff to your wedding. My DJ didn't go with many of the songs I chose weeks before, threw in songs he chose. Went way out of order on the songs. Didn't do most of the events I pre planned at my dj connection consultation. Set up one single light to shine directly on one of my guest tables and when they complained he wouldn't move it. I said I wanted him to accept requests and I found out after he told my guests that he didn't take requests. The mic quality was horrible. I could barely hear any toast or speech and there was constant feedback screeching. He played the wrong FIRST DANCE song... we awkwardly walked over to him and told him to find the correct song and explicitly specified it had to be by the female singer (there are two versions of our song) and he plays the one by the male singer. He played 4 songs twice and one song three times in a row. He played two songs over each other at the same time... not sure how that was even possible. He didn't announce almost anything we asked him to. His timing was off the entire night. He didn't play any music during the seating of the mother. He started the entrance of the bride song way late so the timing was off during the bride's entrance. So use DJ connection only if you're positive you want your wedding completely ruined. These aren't all the problems hey caused either. I'm convinced you couldn't pay someone a million dollars do try on purpose to do a worse job than the DJ connection people do. If I could go back in time I would BEG myself to just use Spotify on a phone. Please listen to these reviews people, it's for the biggest day fo your life. I told the company all my complaints and asked for a refund or even a partial refund for services not performed as outlined in the contract. They said they would call me back and never did and then didn't answer my calls after that. I have video of my whole wedding and all the problems the DJ caused and duties he did not perform as well as the phone call with the company afterward recorded. PLEASE look at the Yelp reviews if you want honest reviews. Edit: I see in the response under this that they claim they offered me a refund. Great! I'm calling them today to collect that refund and allow them to opportunity to make things right. I will report back promptly on if they were telling the truth about the refund or not. (spoiler, my hopes are not high based on the inaccuracies of the response under this one). Regarding the comment under this one: "The [first dance] song was never specified"?? I chose the song from ***YOUR**** website which included every detail about the song including artist... we went over it weeks before the wedding... I have the conversation recorded where your staff said out loud the name of the artist. People can see for themselves how song selection works on your website and know there's no way to not specify a song nor the order they play in. The "dance floor lights" never moved once. It was totally stationary... blasting my guests eyes at their table. The DJ did not say "I cannot play that song because I don't have a clean version..." he said "I don't take requests" to my husband's grandma asking to play "At Last" (a completely clean song). Also note how many of the problems I listed that they just completely didn't address^^

The DJ made the night unpleasant for the groom and the father of the bride, and everyone was unhappy with him by the end of the night. Despite being given a playlist, he played different songs entirely. This includes playing the WRONG song for the First Dance (very disappointing for the couple) and played the wrong music as the bride walked down the aisle. When the father of the bride asked the DJ to please play the playlist he was given, the DJ became confrontational and walked away from the father, refusing to play what he was asked to play. When the groom himself approached the DJ, the DJ was rude and again confrontational. Rather than making the night fun and memorable, this DJ made it about himself. Hire this company at your own risk.

We were married 5/1/2022 and DJ Connection was absolutely amazing! Easy to work with! Our DJs name was Jonah, and he was awesome! My Husband and I are huge Panic at the Disco fans and Jonah walked up and he looked a lot like Brendon Urie! What a cool coincidence! He played every song we wanted and more, was super energetic, and very involved. We dont regret anything!

they were absolutely great at my wedding! Jonah did amazing! Afterwards I did have some trouble with customer service when it came to referrals but I was able to get a hold of Justin the sales manager and he was amazing he took care of the issue and made sure that they honored their word! 1000 recommend!
