From the moment we spoke with Chris, we knew he was going to be the perfect officiant for our wedding. And I have to admit, even with very high expectations, Chris went above and beyond all expectations. My wife and I come from several different cultural and religious backgrounds, and we wanted our ceremony to touch on each culture without being overly religious. Chris was able to find a perfect balance and did so wonderfully. What I appreciate the most is that Chris was able to lead a ceremony based on our love and history together. We're about two weeks removed from our big day, and we're still receiving non-stop compliments as to how memorable our ceremony was. Our wedding was July 25 2021. With that being said, the reason why it took me so long to review Chris is mainly because I have no words that will do this man justice. When we began planning, one of the most daunting tasks was finding an officiant because the ceremony was the most important part to us. We eloped in 2019 and were were supposed to have our wedding in 2020, but the pandemic hit. We were saving our vows for our big wedding ceremony so needless to say, we wanted the ceremony to shine and finally give us the platform to show our love for one another. We wanted someone that understood us like a family member but we werent too keen on the idea of having a family member officiate our wedding. One quick google search later, we found Chris. Simply put, after meeting with Chris we felt like we had a meeting with someone that knew us for years. After leaving our consultation my husband said, I could talk to and listen to him tell stories for hours. What he put together for our ceremony was beyond anything I could ask for. Somehow he put both of our personalities into words and showcased the love we have for each other in ways I didnt even think was possible. My husband and I are huge Harry Potter fans and he even included little gems and quotes in our ceremony reading. Long story short, do not, I repeat, DO NOT look any further. If you are reading this review, you have found your wedding officiant. Chris if funny, caring, professional, but most importantly you can tell he loves what he does. At the end of the day, you need someone like him in your corner. To Chris, thank you for all that you do and have done for us! If I could give you 100 stars, I would. When my now-husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew we didnt want a standard ceremony. We wanted a ceremony that would reflect us as a couple and tell our story, so when I found Chris, I had a feeling he would be perfect for the job. I set up a meeting with Chris, my fiancé and myself and we ended up having a conversation filled laughs and plenty of story-telling. After that meeting, my fiancé and I knew we wanted Chris to officiate our wedding, we didnt even consider any other officiants. Our wedding day was on July 30th and Im happy to say that Chris more than delivered on his promise of a custom ceremony! Our ceremony had plenty of laughs and cries and it encapsulated us as a couple. Our guests loved it! We would 10/10 recommend Chris as an officiant to our friends and family! Pastor Chris was our wedding ceremony officiant this past October. He took the time to sit down and hear our story and even gave us the time to ask some of our marriage questions for advice. As other reviews mention, he gives you a list of question for the bride and Groom to answer and submit and reveals the answers on the day of ceremony. As per our request, he kept the ceremony 30-45min and simple and entertaining and boy did he deliver! Not only was it lively and funny, but he was flexible with last minute requests on the day of the wedding. As soon as the ceremony was over and the cocktail hour started, my cousins and aunt/uncles came to look for me to tell me how that was the best wedding officiant they've seen. The price wasn't cheap but was definitely worth it since the guests didn't feel the ceremony was a drag... because I know that I tend to not enjoy being a wedding guest when the ceremony drags! Thank you Chris for being a part of our day and making it so memorable for us AND our family&friends!!!
