I am very sorry that Ms. Justice still feels this way, we have tried repeatedly to explain to her the reality of of her situation. We represented Ms. Justice for a very short period of time. As the public records show, Both Ms. Justice and her Husband filed competing claims against each other. The attorneys and parties met outside the court room, exchanged evidence, and negotiated. Both parties and both attorneys agreed that the best course of action was to dismiss the actions and enter into an agreed order for the judge to sign, and to appoint a Guardian Ad Litem to get to the bottom of the allegations on both sides and to determine what was in the best interest of the children. Ms. Justice left the courthouse and seemed satisfied with the outcome. The next day she apparently decided that she was not happy with the agreement she had reached. We have tried ever since to assure her that she made the correct decisions the day of court. We firmly believe that we did everything possible for her given the circumstances that she came to us with. We absolutely deny that we did anything but provide her with excellent representation and firmly believe that if it were not for our experienced and competent guidance, she would be in a much worse situation than she currently is. As the court records show, Ms. Justice fired the attorney she hired after us as well and hired a third attorney and later dismissed her divorce all together. Family law, especially divorce, can be a very difficult process. As attorneys, we do everything possible under the law to help our clients with the facts they bring to us. We are not able to go back in time and change the circumstances that brought the client to us in the first place. Ms. Justice has substantially edited the review above, the original post contained many more false and potentially damaging untrue statements than this version does. We absolutely did notify both of her subsequent attorneys that we intended to file a defamation law suit against her. Ms. Justice is entitled to her opinion, however she is not entitled to say things that are not true. The attorney that attended this hearing with her is one of the most experienced family law attorneys she could have hired anywhere. She claims to have been "blind sighted", again, we do not get to make up the evidence or facts in a case that comes to us. The Siemon Law Firm has won numerous awards for our ability as attorneys and have been voted best of by our clients and community many times. As you can see by the vast majority of our reviews, our clients are very happy with the excellent service that we provide to them every day. We are very sorry that we were not able to make Ms. Justice happy.

Do yourself a favor and Stay away from this firm. Not only did I lose a significant amount of money but I got blind sighted by something so unexpected and damaging to my case. Had I hired a good experienced attorney this wouldn't have happened. I had to fire her and find another attorney to clean up the mess but the damage had been done and not repairable. I have since heard from others nothing but negative things about this firm. I wrote a review on their Facebook page and they emailed my current attorney telling him to let me know that they were going to file a lawsuit against me. It's called a review. Then they turned their Facebook reviews off. I hope no one else experiences what I did with this firm. If I could just rewind. Now me and my children will forever be impacted and must deal with the consequences of hiring a bad attorney. I never imagined the damage hiring the wrong attorney can do to u. Please do your research don't take hiring an attorney lightly. I would never recommend anyone to them.

It is unfortunate that Mr. Smith has mischaracterized the work and number of hours put into this matter. In addition to responding to the initial complaint, which included a significant amount of research into the doctrine of laches as a legal defense in this matter, we also had to respond and object to the other partys discovery demands, as well as submit our own. The time billed for also included extensive communication with opposing counsel who was being very difficult to work with. It is true that we did request significant additional funds from this client after filing our response to the other partys petition, responses and objections to their discovery requests, and our own discovery requests. That is because the opposing lawyer advised he would be scheduling Mr. Smiths deposition, which involves a significant amount of preparation and the time spent in the deposition itself. Finally, to be clear, all funds requested are kept on account, and are only billed against as time is spent on the case. Had Mr. Smith paid us as requested and those funds were not needed, they would have been refunded to him at the conclusion of this case. In cases such as this, there are certain things that are out of our control. We can handle anything that the other side throws at us, but the more complicated the case, the more time it takes to deal with. We did our best to explain all of this to Mr. Smith and we would be happy to continue to discuss his concerns. It is not reasonable to state that a case should have cost $2,500 when the other side is serving us with extensive discovery and scheduling depositions. I can assure Mr. Smith that any documents we drafted were appropriate and accurate, again, we would be happy to explain his misunderstand if he wants to communicate with us directly.

Consulted and hired for a contempt case, was lead to believe the case would be much less than the required reserve money to start case. Before the first response to the plaintiff's attorney they had already used up all available funds and wanted me to then pay that amount again to continue on the case. Maybe I'm new to this but wow, way to get someone on the hook for a case that should have cost less than $2,500 and try to get them to pay you $7,000 with no way to regulate your spending. Total misrepresentation of the firm and the cost of their legal fees for the case. Not to mention that once I had my court date using the legal documents I had paid $3,500 dollars for the judge said that the legal statutes they claimed did not apply in my case. Therefore not only did I get taken for $3,500 dollars I also apparently purchased bad legal advice that did not help me with my case at all. If I were you I would keep looking for a more honest law firm that cares more about you and your family than how fast they can spend your hard earned money.
