Wayne & Kathy, it is unusual to receive a review 2 months later however I am happy to respond to your exaggerated and untruthful review. Back in October we were in lock down and had very strict inspection rules. No touch policy, stay with your group, and keep 4 meters apart from anyone else. The legislation and Covid Safety plan were displayed in writing and I only reminded those people who did not follow the Covid Safety plan. You consistently contacted the vendor to the point where he left home when he knew you were coming to visit your family across the road. You placed the vendor and myself in an uncomfortable position, the day you attended the open home you displayed contempt and disregard, I felt very intimidated and mentioned this to my colleague who then started to observe. During the 4 weeks that the property was on the market you made 3 offers then withdrew them, you had family members contacting the vendor. The vendor made it very clear to me that he did not want you contacting him., this made him quite anxious. I expressed this to you both at the open house yet you still contacted him over the weekend. I received two offers after your offer that were substantially higher then your offer and these buyers were ready to proceed. At the end of the day the person who accepts the offer is the vendor and the vendor made the decision to go with the other buyer who was in a better position and offered substantially more. Maybe in your future dealings, take advice from the agent who is trying to help you and avoid contacting or harassing the vendors. I don't usually write reviews, however after our experience with Century 21 Nowra, I felt compelled to do so. We went to an open house inspection at Sanctuary point on inspecting the house I opened a door to see what was behind it As soon as I did this the Agent ( Rachael) Came over to us and told us in front of everyone we are not to touch anything, if we wanted to open a door we had to ask her and she would do it., however other people inspecting the house were opening doors & cupboards at leisure. We felt strongly victimised as nothing was said to other potential buyers On The Sunday following the Saturday inspection we wanted to make an offer on the house so I rang Rachael I understand that it was Sunday but Rachael advised us that we could ring anytime we liked as her phone was never off. On no response from Rachael I Rang the Vendor as he was a neighbour of my mother-in-law. We made an offer to him that was excepted by him he advised us that he would ring the Agent and get the process started as soon as he discussed the offer with his family. On The following Monday (about 9am) the Agent rang me and asked me why I rang the vendor when she asked me not to deal with him. I explained the reason why as I couldn't get hold of her and was worried we might miss out. She then told me it doesn't matter now your offer had been excepted congratulation. I received an email of congratulations from the realestate company pertaining information for securing the property. That same day I received a phone call from Rachael advising that there was an offer put forward that was greater than our offer.As you could expect we were both angry and frustrated with the process and how it came to this, however we made a counter offer that was greater than the current bid Rachael said she would need to discuss the offer with the vendor and get back to me which she did over a day later and informed me that the vendor was going with the offer from the other bider that was less than our bid I asked Rachael how is this so?? She advised that the other couple our cashed up and we were waiting for the sale of a property to finance & close the deal which is true but there was a mutual agreement with vendor that a long settlement was conducive to both parties. We missed out on this property, Draw your on conclusion, It is in my opinion that Integrity, trust, transparity, And Honourability is non existing at 21 Century Nowra, If I Could give a zero rating I would.
