Dr. Karen Kuennin who works at the Lens Crafts forgot to send my eye exam results to my neurologists office, the neuro-Ophthamalogy doctor was going to study the results and schedule a visit and other tests to prevent further damages to my eyes as soon as they get the referral. But Dr. Kuennin wasted few days of a very important diagnostic work, she even didn't send them the first thing on the day when she was returned to work, I had to call them many times to emphasize on the importance of their duty to send the results ASAP, but for them it was another day in the office and patient's request had no priority on their agenda except collecting the fees. Lens Crafts must be ashamed of themselves and take her negligence/ignorance seriously to prevent further complaints and loosing another customer. Finally I ended up going to MR to take care of my eye and have no use for Dr.Kuennin report anymore, she has charged me and my insurance for her fees which has no value, she should pay back the money and probably rethink about her responsibilities as a Doctor to not neglect her duties toward patients. Shame on her. No more business with that unorganized place.
Unprofessional service...I had a scheduled appointment for an annual eye exam. I called a few days ahead of time to confirm the appointment and give them my new insurance information. Everything went well and as expected in the phone conversation. Let me add here that my experience last year with the Doctor was excellent. When I showed up for the appointment this year, they had no record of me having an appointment, just records from my eye exam from last year. I showed the staff member my confirmation email. That didnt help her figure it out. She then offered to reschedule as she couldnt fit me in. I am not sure what is going on. The woman I spoke with on the phone certainly didnt care enough to actually see that my appointment was properly scheduled. Lack of positive atmosphere in the office, a culture of not giving a .... hoot, or just a mistake, I dont know. Thats it. I left after that.
Hi Jessica! As I replied on your second duplicate review from another account: I'm sorry you feel we warrant a 1 Star Review. If glasses take longer than expected, or if a patient purchases contact lenses through our office, we are happy to get extras to get that patient by! However, if we have already given a patient a free supply of contacts, then running out of contact lenses and needing more the next day is an issue between that patient and whoever he or she orders contact lenses through, and does not involve our office. We are very upfront about our prices and we pride ourselves on the exceptional service we deliver, so I'm very sorry you didn't feel this experience has been up to your standards. Avoid this place at all costs. It was over $340 with my vision insurance for new lenses and an exam. Mind you I reused my frames, I typically pay around $120 when I get just new frames for my glasses with an exam at other places but I liked this doctor. So they said my glasses would be ready in 1-2 weeks. They gave me a weeks worth of contacts. Today I ran out of contacts and my glasses still aren't in. I asked if I could get another weeks supply to get me by, they said no because I didn't order my contacts through them. I ordered my contacts through work which are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. So the only thing they said they could do was if I spent over $150 for their contacts then they could give me another weeks worth. So I won't be able to see for at least a week now because they refuse to be accomodating. This place is a money grab. Go anywhere else. Update to my review. Another client who left a bad review they responded by saying what services he had done. This is a violation of HIPAA, so if you want your rights as a client to be violated, this is the place for you!
