Very clean and peaceful State Park. I love how wooded it is. Gorgeous bog and farm. Kids had a blast. Everyone was super friendly. Plenty of space for our dogs, we had site 50. Close to the nature trail and comfort station. Will definitely go again!

Sweetwater is always a fun hike! My husband, our son, and I tagged along with a couple of our friends. It had been a good minute since our friends and I had been there, and we got turned around a bit. We ended up taking the red trail and soon learned that is MUCH more strenuous with a toddler! If you plan on taking kids, especially one that tires easily and needs a stroller, KEEP OFF THE RED! There's a STEEP hill that leads back down to the creek, and from there your only options is to go back up the STEEP hill or to climb over the rocks that make up part of the trail. Neither of us wanted to push the stroller back UP the hill, so we opted for the rocks. In hind sight, the hill might've actually been easier! But with one friend carrying the stroller and the other 3 of us playing "pass the baby" and taking tirns with the diaper bag, we made it!! All in all, we did have a lot of fun, and got in an AMAZING workout in the process!!!! (Even though that wasn't the kind of workout we had in mind!!!)
