How is there not an option to just pay your utility bill online. Just got switched to a cash only status for a year instead of giving me a chance to make a one time or online payment.
So we have been in good standing for about a year. I have issues with my bill ONE month for ONE billing cycle and they put me on "cash only status" FOR A YEAR. Which now means that I have to go pull cash, go to HEB and take time out of my day and pay a fee when there's nothing wrong with my card (I just got paid later than normal and it caused the return payments) and I should be able to pay online. Disgusting how a city service works to make it harder and more exclusionary to the community. Shame on you and this classist policy.
I live in a 1 bd room apt and my bill is higher than my parents who live in a 2 story 3 bd room house. I really don't understand why only thru the city of Austin you will pay a arm and a leg for poor energy services. The reps are uneducated and can never explain to me why my light Bill is $315 for a1 bd room apt when I am not home most of the time. I HATE HATE HATE the city of Austin.
The website is going through updates but they still haven't given you a better way to do a one time payment. Everything seems so limited which causes it to take so long to pay your bill. I will update my review once they have completed the update.
