I am extremely disappointed in this experience. I changed my star rating from 3 to 1. We have been coming to Hillcrest for 5-6 years. This is our second year of being completely dissatisfied with our service. We arrived on time for our appointment, however, it was 45 minutes before we saw Dr. Hall. We had to wait a long time last year too. Secondly, my daughter is 10 and she is good at talking with doctors about her needs and questions. This is important for girls to ask and advocate for what they need. This is the second year that my daughter has been cut off from asking questions and processing what is happening. I am so disappointed. How else can a child learn to ask questions and be part of the plan for caring for her own eyes? When cut off from asking questions, the only strategy that remains is for us adults to take ownership of her vision health and simply tell her what to do. We have not experienced the process described in Dr. Hall's description, "evaluate how patients live, work, and play and then customize a treatment plan that meets their visual needs, no matter what the situation." Last year I extended grace thinking that everyone has days when they are off and not their best. I also wanted my daughter to have a female sys doctor. This is our second time in a row and I am very disappointed in the wait and in the lack of engagement with my daughter.

Had a great experience with Hillcrest Vision. My wife has told me about Hillcrest for a while and I finally scheduled and eye exam and had a wonderful experience from communications in booking the appointment, online forms, actual appointment, and interaction with the staff. Thank you for making it a pleasant and smooth process from start to finish. Updated 1/31/22 and had another great experience ordering glasses after my most recent eye exam.
Dr. Hall is amazing. I drive 30 minutes to see her when there are plenty of eye doctors within 10 minutes of me. I've been seeing her since 2006 and will continue to follow her wherever she goes. She is understanding, patient and kind, always striving to find the answer to vision issues no matter how rare they may be.
