When my wife and I began planning for our forever, dream, retirement home on Lake Travis we recognized builder selection was critical to realizing our dream. Finding the right builder to balance your dream with reality and deliver on quality and budget can be a challenge. We know this because we have built 2 other homes including another custom home, and I did a little home construction work myself to get through college so we know a bit about the process and what quality home construction looks like. We evaluated several builders for our Lake Travis dream house, and Younger Homes hands down fit the calling for our project. When we thought about our past building experiences and what we wanted for our dream house a few critical things stood out to us with Younger Homes: Construction Quality They are really dialed into quality and innovative construction methods/materials and get really excited about them. When you talk to them you can feel their passion. Ownership/Pride in Workmanship They care deeply about their product, and constantly gauge our satisfaction and happiness with the progress and quality of work. This is not something you see in all trades or homes builders these days, unfortunately. Budget - They spent a lot of time up front, working with us and the trades to ensure they fully understood our vision and the costs before providing an initial budget estimate. The team continues to evaluate spending and changes as the project progresses and works to keep the project on cost and schedule. Even in the face of inflationary or other challenges they look for ways to get costs and schedule back in line with the original project estimates and time line. Project Specs and Transparency They provide up front a very detailed and descriptive layout of the specifications and building methods, materials and equipment they will be using in your home up to the efficiency rating of your ac unit. It is so refreshing to see this level of transparency in a builder these days and know exactly what you are getting and how much it will cost up front. Many/most builders today will quote you general costs or ranges per square feet and even when you sign the contract you wont know exactly what you are getting, which leads to surprises and disappointment down the road. That wont happen with Younger Homesyou know what you are getting when you sign the contract and that is what they deliver. Environmental Preservation and Ergonomic Fit They care about the impact the project has on the environment and making sure your home fits into the natural surroundings.Especially important to our project in such beautiful, natural surroundings. Its not just about inserting a building on the land to them. Its an integration of the project with nature. Down to the detail of how exactly to situate the house to capture the most perfect natural view. And the attention they pay to the fit and function of the house to ensure age in place functionality is a step beyond. You dont see this anywhere. Staff There is full team of helpful staff focused on each and every aspect of the building process to ensure no balls get dropped and the project stays on track. Overall Younger Homes is a family business, and this means a great deal to themand it shows. They are passionate about and dedicated to the success of what they are doing, and this adds up to a winning team for our project. We are so blessed to have found Jesse and Danielle and the full Younger Homes team to build our dream home on Lake Travis and highly recommend them to others who are looking for a stand out builder for their dream project.

We met Jesse and Danielle back in March of 2020. We were about to sign with another custom builder but when my wife met The Youngers, she knew that they were the ones for us. With there strong Christian values and organized hands-on approach, we were sold. Although we have had many challenges and overages primarily due to Covid we still are sure we made the right decision. Denny (our superintendent) has been a rock star! He has been an excellent communicator and good friend through the entire process. Katie (project coordinator) has also been wonderful, although she primarily calls with bad news and has the worst job at the company we cant ever be upset at her! I would say if you are looking to build a custom home (and have the stomach for it) Younger Homes is a great organization to work with and have unparalleled integrity! Although we are not quite complete, we will have exactly what we wanted in the end.

There are not enough words to describe how incredibly impressed and happy my wife and I are with Younger Homes. Weve built and remodeled many homes in the last 25 years and weve NEVER come across any other builder or contractor who are on the level of Younger Homes. Jesse and Danielle are incredible in every way and we have zero complaints which is unheard of in the home building world. If I had to give one word to describe their work it would be PERFECTION .
