Terrible customer service from this hotel. There is no direct contact information in order to talk to a representative of the hotel. I had a credit with this hotel chain and tried to call, text, and email them and was unable to get in touch with anyone over the course of several days. A terrible customer experience and I will not be staying or even considering this hotel brand.

Edit: Travis the on-site manager was pleasant and helpful once I was able to make contact with him. I would probably stay again since it worked well for our 3 generation party of 5 with two rooms and two bathrooms and an on-site gym, pool, and coffee shop. Thanks Travis! No sheets, blankets or pillowcases for one of the beds on the first night was pretty unacceptable during a pandemic. Front desk apologized but couldn’t provide us with any until the morning. We also had no body wash, shampoo which was body wash with a sticker over it saying shampoo. It all had fallen from the wall and wasn’t fixed. the hair dryer was broken. No call from management despite asking twice for a call. Drunk people in the pool openly drinking well past pool closing hours and a dog in the pool. Not exactly a family place or one that values customer service, and not good Covid practices. Good location though.

We were able to get early check in, and the room was very spacious for four people. Savannah helped with any question we had and I would recommend a stay here for anyone thinking about it - was over and above what was expected.

We do see that we missed some things with your stay here at The Guild Downtown Miami. We will be letting housekeeping know about the cleanliness of this room as it isn't up to The Guild standard. We are located in a residential building so all of our guests have to undergo an ID verification process for the safety of other hotel guests and the residents of the building. You should have received a link earlier than 24 hours before check in but we also send reminders when it is closer to your stay. Bed is comfy, location great, lots of restaurants around etc. check in was a weird automated situation but instructions were clear enough and the technology worked. Getting an email 24 hours before check in asking for ID was also weird - maybe do that at booking time via website so people know for sure it’s secure and not a scam. Main issue was lack of cleanliness… weird stains on couch which was actually missing a leg. I certainly am not a clean fanatic by any means, but when there’s a thick layer of dust and grime in the bathroom it is a bit off putting.
