Our server was the worse. She brought our drinks, without a garnish for one. We had to wave her down to ask for it. Then she never brought it for over 15 minutes. Finally got it when we asked once again. Took our order, the food came. She never came and asked if our meal was good, never brought any bread. We inquired about it and she told us they were out but it would be done in one and a half minutes. We had our food. I took an especially long time to eat and she never came back once to either bring us our bread or ask if we wanted another drink anything. I thought the food was great but the service was the worse. Katelyn B you need to stay off your cell phone and pay attention to your customers. Will think twice about returning. Loved it when it was Joe’s. Never had bad service there.
Pizza, we're really sorry to hear that you feel so strongly about our cooking and your overall experience with us the other day. We are in the business of pleasing people with our famous cooking and incredible service team. We would've been more than happy to replace any dishes or refund you for your entire meal had you brought any of this to our attention when you were here. We made reservations for Valentine's Day and they normally don't take reservations. They were running 30-45 minutes behind on the reservations, we had to wait over 30 minutes passed our time. Once we got seated, no one acknowledged/apologized for the wait. We got the scallops wellington, French onion soup, and fried mozzarella for apps, and the chicken Parm and southern fried chicken for entree along with a red Sangria. The scallops were amazing along with the sauce. The fried mozzarella tasted homemade but for $12 lacked seasoning in the breading. The French onion soup was good, had a good thyme flavor. The chicken Parm was good, it was big also not as tasty as other restaurants. The southern fried chicken tasted like it was sitting for a while and/or was reheated as the chicken was on the dryer side while also rather mushy, and the breading fell off very easily. The Sangria also had just one piece of fruit. It would be a solid 3 star if not for the poor management with the times. Of course sometimes these things happen, so it's what they do when this happens is what counts, which in this case, didn't even acknowledge it, let alone offer a comped drink or dessert. I'd like to go again to try other things on their menu but after tonight I'm not too convinced it'll be worth it.
My wife and I went here to have dinner for our anniversary. We were seated and sat for over twenty minutes. No one came to serve us. We were not even given any utensils. Other people who arrived after us were promptly served. We felt that we were being discriminated against as we were the only people of color. We left and went to The Flants Restaurant and received excellent service.
