in response to this vehicle which was 4 months ago, after initial Diagnostic check, the only fault code which came up which was for fuel pressure we went for the least expensive thing first being the fuel filter, the gearbox wasn't even spoken about, on removing the fuel filter we found it wasn't fitted correctly.. tell the whole story before you start with your opinions, we spoke about bringing your car back to look further into the fault you was having asking you to leave the car with us so we could look into it and you refused this option, and lets remember the diagnostic check was only 40.00 not breaking the bank!

Useless SELF CLAIMED Vauxhall specalist ,don't have a good knowledge in automatic gearbox. Traveled 25 miles, within 5 minutes technician suggested nothing wrong.highly depend on computer diagnostic machine.No PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE about the disel engine. BUT I HAVE BEEN CHARGED ,ALTHOUGH THEY COULDN'T FIND THE PROBLEM . Garage down the road fix the problem for 180 same day.
Dear Darren, Thank you for your feedback. We value our customer opinions, and we are sorry that you feel dissatisfied with our services. You brought your 1994 Vauxhall Calibra to us with an engine misfire, and after an initial diagnostic, we found that all the spark plugs and ignition leads were flooded with oil due to faulty cam rocker cover gaskets. We advised replacing this first. You supplied us with your own parts, and as you probably discovered for yourself, it's not always easy to get the correct parts with cars of this age. On 3 occasions, you provided us with incorrect parts. After our help, you did manage to sort out the correct ignition module, but unfortunately, that didn't cure the misfire problem. We were confident we could still fix the problem, but we needed more time. I understand your frustration, especially after I informed you very honestly that we could not look at your Calibra for the past three days. Unfortunately, at this time, we had to prioritise our pre-booked customers and jobs for our emergency vehicles, such as the London Ambulance Service. We are expanding and are moving our business to more extensive, modernised premises next week to expand our capacity and ability to help more customers in less time.

Sorry to leave a negative review but I took my Vauxhall Calibra to AVs recently as I understood they are Vauxhall specialists. My car was losing power at low revs. Chris said I had an oil leak causing a misfire and to get new rocker covers and gaskets, sparks, leads and coil pack. Got all that but it didnt fix problem. Said they needed more time on the car and couldnt find a wiring diagram. Had the car for a week, no progress. Misdiagnosis and no urgency to finish what they started. Time to try another garage. Sorry guys.

Have been using AV Autos since we moved to West Norwood 4 years ago. The service from Ales and his team has always been excellent and very accommodating. And the cost has always been very reasonable and competitive.
This is a perfect example how easy is to receive negative reviews. Missing an appointment is not our fault. You booked for 2pm and turned up at 4pm. If you at least made the effort and called us, we may be able to help you. We must do something right otherwise we wouldn't be always busy and not depending on rare time wasters.

Awful customer service called to get my car checked and said will come in after 2. Got there for half 2 and refused to check my car. Drove all the way from east London as they ment to be specialist for vivaro. Waste of time and money
