We are surprised and sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction, especially since your wife thanked us over the phone, was not charged for our second visit, and since the previous installers mistake was the cause of your unit not working properly. According to our records, on Dec. 3 our tech performed diagnosis and determined a bad board. He informed Sabrina that the board was under warranty, but since we were not the installing contractor, she would be responsible for the labor to get/exchange/install the part. She agreed and so he left, picked up the part, returned to the investment property and installed. After installation of the part, he could still not get unit working. He told her that he would have the service manager return on Monday. Our service manager went to the property at no charge on Monday, 12/6 and after examining the equipment he found that the PVC furnace vents were installed incorrectly by the original installer. Vents should have been 3, according to manufacturers specs, but the installed vent was only 2. To verify, he called the manufacturer and was told that the equipment was not under their warranty (as it had been purchased from a third party, possibly over the Internet) and she would have to contact the original installer to address warranty and venting issues. Your wife indicated that she understood and said she would be in contact with them. Our service manager did provide her with a verbal estimate for HGH to do the repair work. He also explained to her about the error on the invoice, actually in her favor, regarding the wording after hours trip charge. She understood and paid the original invoice, which included the warranty labor. She was not charged for the second visit. Our service manager called your wife on Tuesday and left a message just checking in regarding their discussion from prior day. He called again on Thursday, and she answered. During that conversation she thanked him for following up and indicated she had not had time to follow-up with original installing contractor. There has been no contact since, and certainly no mention of any dissatisfaction. We wish you the best success with your investment property.

Be very careful hiring this company, be sure to ask about their trip charges, after hour fees, and any other fees beforehand. My wife reached out to this company to take a look at the HVAC system at her investment property in Baltimore and was charged a trip fee, after hour fee (mind you the tech was only there to 4pm not late at night), and some other fee that does not make any sense, especially since the problem they claimed to cause the issue turned out not to even be a factor. At no time was my wife told there was a trip charge or after hour fee after 3:30 pm. The tech opened the furnace and after some time told my wife the new system needed a new control panel, which would be covered under warranty but HGH charges for processing the warranty for the customer. The tech left to get the part, claims to come back with the part which he never showed her and then says its still not working. My wife then asks if it's common for two (previous part in the new system & new part the tech picked up at the store) parts to not function properly because she knew something wasn't right. He said he couldn't figure it out and his boss would come on Monday to take a look at it. Another guy comes on Monday after the weekend and said another issue was the problem not the system needing a new control panel. Thankfully my wife decided not to more forward with having this company do any work on the HVAC. Bottom line she was charged fees that she was not aware of & for the time wasted on a false diagnosis, which is not at all her fault and should not have been her expense.
