The majority of our patients have a vision plan through EyeMed and we worked hard to locate your plan using the information you provided. After trying all of the normal search queries on the EyeMed insurance web site with no success, we called the company and were told by a representative that your insurance plan was no longer valid. We would be happy to apply your normal EyeMed discounts if we are supplied with information that allows us to locate your active plan. Feel free to stop by our office any time and we will be happy to help. Eyeglass orders typically take one week to complete. We do apologize your order took longer than usual due to quality control. I was referred to this clinic by Eye-Med Discount Plan. Dr. Garnsey's staff called and took my information after I signed up online for an appointment. Very convenient ! The appointment went great. He is pleasant and knowledgeable Doctor. He did his exam and wrote a Rx for Computer Glasses. On the way out I was told Eye-Med no longer participated in the Eye-Med program and took my check for $190 for the exam and computer glasses. I contacted Eye-Med later that day who reported my plan discount was good at the Hendersonville Eye Health & Vision clinic. I return the next week to get my glasses and . . . . No Glasses. They are still at the lab getting "final inspection". Bottom line. If you want to pay double and wait two weeks for your glasses, this is your place. For me ? I am sticking by Wal-Mart.
We are so sorry that you are upset! When you ordered prescription lenses at our office in late June, we checked with your insurance, and you were eligible for prescription lenses. When we submitted the claim a few weeks later, the claim was denied. I called your insurance to see why it was denied since we had proof of eligibility for the date of service. The claims representative explained that you had visited another office in the middle of July and had purchased prescription lenses. The representative explained that because the other office had submitted the claim before us, it rendered your benefits unavailable due to the fact that they do not pay in order of service date. Instead, they pay in order of claim submission date regardless of the service date. I am sorry that the bill you received was a surprise to you and I wish I had the opportunity to explain all of this to you before you hung up. I understand your frustration, and hope you know that as a small practice, we submit claims as quickly as possible. Because the process is so tedious, sometimes it takes a few weeks for our staff to complete the insurance claims process. We would be happy to work with you to find a solution since this was an unexpected billing situation for both of us. Feel free to call us any time. We are happy to help!

Worst place in Hendersonville. Bad customer service, cost and billing. Do not waste your time or money, you are better off going to any place even Walmart before going here.
Everyone was so kind and knowledgable! They really did go above and beyond. The doctor explains every step of the process and makes it very easy to understand. The other staff members take the extra time to help you pick frames and lenses. They didn't have to do that. Everything felt very genuine. I am very pleased and will have my family come here as well.
THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT! They were so helpful, professional and very nice. They even helped me pick out a pair of glasses, and I kept picking several kinds! They were so patient with me and gave me their honest opinion, which I appreciate!
