Overall, I was happy. I had a stainless steel chase installed. In my opinion the initial install was not satisfactory as they did not caulk around the stacks. Owner returned and applied caulk. Warranty is void if you do not have yearly inspections. Stainless steel should come with a life time warranty. I would understand labor would not be included in the life time warranty. I received a bi-monthly e-mail asking me to review them on their page. If I gave a 4 star rating, they would publish my message. A 3 star rating would not be published.
The initial appointment set up and meeting went well and very smoothly. Once I started asking a few questions I could never get a response. Sent several emails and called the person directly. Finally I spoke with a receptionist and she said someone would call me back. No phone call but a brief response back via email with little to no information. Ironically after that I was still going to sign the overpriced contract as I kept seeing so many positive reviews. Sent one final follow-up email with our last question and even stated once we heard back we would decide on the option to go with. No response what so ever. Obviously our chimney repair job isnt the biggest job around and businesses are looking for larger projects but ignoring a client is not sound business practice. First and last time contacting them for anything.

Thanks to Hansen and Sons for being honest and straight shooting. I was led to believe that I may need some work done by another contractor, but after taking a look at our chimney Hansen and Sons said things looked OK as is. I could have easily been lead into believing that I needed to go forward with costly repairs that weren't absolutely necessary at this time. Thanks so much for coming out and looking at my chimney and taking the time to explain things to me.

While we understand the leaking of the window was an inconvenience, when it comes to foundation level masonry work it is not unheard of to have to make a few return trips to stop leaking 100%. We did so gladly both times that you called without any question. Unfortunately, illness and life events strikes at unfortunate times and does not take our schedules in account when it happens. This was the case with the scheduling mishap for your repair in September, We were however able to reschedule with you and get this issue taken care of for you when you were ready for us to reschedule. I had my glass block windows replace and was very happy with the crew that showed up to do the work. Well the windows leaked not long after the work was preformed. They came out promptly to do a repair which I was happy about as well, but the windows started leaking again. I made an appointment for them to come back out and look at the windows. No one showed up and I had to call Into the office to find out why no one showed up. Very inconsiderate of peoples time. I would say I am hesitant to have them do work for me again.
