Called Lenscrafter to schedule appt for updated prescription and glasses. I did not know this clinic partnered with the store. Never met someone who hated their job more than Jason Gim. Rude. Cuts you off. I took off my contacts for the exam as I was asked to. He told me my prescription had increased and when I asked him by how much, he handed me the clip board knowing I couldnt see. Condescending. No class. I think he chose the wrong profession. Lacks compassion. Hes clearly burned out and probably needs antidepressant.

I am very dissatisfied with my mom's visit for a recheck of her new rx progressive lens. This is my mom's first time wearing glasses and she is saying it looks like she is looking through a fun house mirror. He was very hostile and condescending for the short 5 mins we were there. My mom speaks English but she never asks questions. First he asked my mom, "You wear progressive lens right?" He should know he is the one that wrote the rx! My mom said, "Yes?" He started the eye exam and asked if she could read the letters. She read it correctly then he changed the letters and she said she couldn't see it. He then told her to blink and told her to read it again. My mom was able to read it. He said your problem is dry eyes. He showed her the top lens is for distance and the bottom is for reading. Then he showed her by covering the bottom portion of the lens with sticky notes. She said she was able to see. Then I asked about changing the rx to two different glasses instead. He didn't say yes he can and said it's up to you. Then he proceeded to brush us off and out the door. We were left clueless and my mom felt like she was at fault for being unable to wear her glasses. I feel like Dr. Hwahnn hates his job and hates working on the weekends in particular. We will never come back.
I rated my previous experience as poor for a particular reason: a technician (her name Jenny(?!)) was not friendly and clear with her instruction during my eye exam- leading to a possibly incorrect result(?!). I had two encounters with Jenny at two different appointments- I had two similar negative experience with her in particular!
