We apologize but because of recent Covid guidelines and possible exposure we are mandated to adhere to shut down and reschedule patients if we have exposure of Covid for safety of our patients and staff. We take Covid test frequently and will not work on patients if staff is exposed or if rooms are not decontaminated because of patient exposure.

In response to the owner's strategic COVID blaming response below: My reason for this review is not because your office needed to reschedule me. It was because your staff was rude. I would have been perfectly happy if your response was "I am so sorry for this inconvenience and will call you within the next week to get you in for your appointment" as opposed to "deal with it". That is unprofessional and can only be blamed on your staff and not COVID. ---- Today - 3 days prior to my appointment - I called to update the clinic about my insurance. Over the phone, they tell me they have no staff and that they need to reschedule me to their next appointment... 3 months from now.... Considering I am not a new patient and have waited 6 months for this appointment, I was clearly upset. Upon inquiring whether they can provide me with a sooner appointment, they respond "It is what it is, I can put you on a waitlist". Keep in mind, my appointment that was made 6 months ago is in 3 days and I called them first ..... I called somewhere else and got an app within the next 3 weeks. The service is not special enough to tolerate the lack of professionalism.

Dr(khan )is the biggest coward and racist careless human being ever exited, please if you plan on going here stay away from this individual, I went there to to fix one loose crown he added other teeth that was perfectly fine just to do the worst job ever and told me to go elsewhere if I’m not happy. that I’m mentally not stable , I couldn’t even believe it he said something like that,very just because someone has a degree doesn’t make them a good or smart person ,He will take advantage of the insurance company as much as possible, he doesn’t care about patients need’s, if you black stay away from this one .

OUTSTANDING! I see why so many patients gave Albany Upstate Dental 5 Stars. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Malik, his Assistant Gi-Gi and the wonderful Staff at the front desk. Everyone was professional, pleasant and welcoming. I live 2 hours away and the crown and bridge work I had done was well worth the trip. If only I had a caring and gentle dentist like Dr. Malik growing up, I would have been spared years of “Dental Anxiety”. This will be my dental office for life. I highly recommend Albany Upstate Dental.

This dentist is set up like a dental mill. I've never been rushed thru a dentist so fast before in my life . They do not seem to care about their patients at all . The quality of the work is the worst i have ever had not only did the drop a drill bit into my throat they then dropped a crow into my throat the very next appointment. the crown is still soar to this day .I am currently having all the work redone by another dentist. if i could give them no stars i would
