Mr Digital is 'kinda like' the company intern: Huge enthusiasm, no clue how to get the job done. We spent 12 months as a client and £25,000 on fees and the additional costs their actions incurred. Here is the verdict: - Nice People - Good pitch - Reasonably priced But: - Disorganised > work gets done but is not checked, work gets part-done but not completed - Inexperienced > there is too much reliance on software with little understanding among team members as to 'meaning' and technical relevance - Missing management oversight > layout/semantics/content errors are commonplace, accountability reviews of what the team is doing do not seem to exist - As a result, missing focus on the quality of the outcomes The consequence: what was done made our business worse off, not better. Until the owner-manager confronts the problems instead of explaining them away, there will be no change for the better. For us, it's a loss of a year, which in business terms is not recoverable.
