For the most part the car buying experience with the Rodo app was great. We got a car that we like and the reps that I talked to and the process of leasing it were great. However, there are two main issues with Rodo from my experience. First is that when looking for a specific car, the lowest priced options from my experience are not honored by the dealership. I attempted to purchase two cars after which I was told I could not get that price. This is very stressful after you have taken time to find a car you really like. Rodo allows the dealerships to list their own vehicles and it seems there is no accountability for advertising lower than available prices. Second was the experience with selling my old car to Rodo. Again, the rep was great and very responsive, so no issue there. However, the entire process from the time I asked for a quote to the moment their payment finally posted on my loan was February 8th to March 10th, an entire month. One of the slow downs seemed to be pickup of the car and delivery. What should have taken a single day to deliver from Ohio to New York took an entire week. Once they received the car it took another week before they said payment was sent, and then another week before the payment finally posted. Thankfully, payment posted right before my monthly payment was due. In the end I would use Rodo again, but I'm not sure if I would go through the hassle of trading in another car.

Rodo is like a fake directory of cars that dont actually exist. You have a 1 in 10 chance of getting the car you see. You send all your personal info into the unsecured app or website and you pray that customer service will call you and tell you the good news. I think eating gas station sushi is safer than giving your social security number to RODO. Proceed at your own risk, you have been warned.
