Eyetique lost me as a patient today. I have been going to Eyetique for about 5 years now (give or take). I recently moved and lost my contacts so I called to get my prescription but I was not able to get it unless I came into the store due to HIPAA. So I head into the store to get a copy of my prescription and also see if they could spare a sample pair of contacts as I am a patient there, but just needed something so I can see until payday to order more. The guy that was "helping" me, said he couldn't give me 1 lousy dinky pair of contacts unless I ordered at least 6 months worth of contacts ($180). So they would rather me drive over an hour home from work tonight at 11pm, in the dark, with no contacts, because they couldn't spare a sample pair that they received from the vendor. Blows my mind! They will not get another penny from me. Hey, I got prescription though! UPDATE: I just ordered the same contacts that Eyetique sells for $90/box direct from them, for $20.45 online. Screw Eyetique.

I'm too livid for punctuations. I wish there was a zero for rating. So unprofessional let's start with you get 100 confirmations and 1 call when your glasses are ready. The hours online do not match the hours posted at the physical store. It an hour difference. Which is a lot for someone whom works overnight. Employee dropped his dog off and left about 5mins prior to opening. Dog was at the door can see in the window. Free to roam a place of business with walk ins. A little after 9am I called phone and finally automated says they're are open. Not a soul answered or in the store but the dog because he wasn't back to open on time. Probably went to McDonald's across the street. I called the downtown location to make sure I wasn't crazy. I asked so y'all are allowed to bring pets to work? Drop them off and leave? Needless to say NO. He did help me out contacted higher ups I need a refund $306 after insurance. Orginal amount prior $618.

Yesterday I went to get my vision checked out and the two receptionist were so nice and sweet, and must I add fashionable. The gentleman with the AMAZING HAT was so nice and very welcoming right along with the young lady with the flower shirt. Just by the two individuals who made me comfortable on my visit I would highly recommend your companys business to Everyone. Thank You Eyetique Downtown Pittsburgh.

One star is also too high for this place. Horrible, customer service. They first said it will take 5-7 days, and it's already been so long and they are still saying it will take another 5-7 business days. They did not call me to inform that the order will be delayed. I had to reach out to them myself when I did not hear from them in a very long time. My old glasses are in a bad shape and I am quite inconvenienced by this. I had heard that their prices are high but I still chose them in good faith because of their location (close to my university). What is most shocking is : they do not let you cancel your order, or give any refund. So, now I am STILL waiting for them to finish the order. And, because they blocked my insurance, I cannot use it in any other shop. They are extremely shrewd and inconsiderate towards students. There are better shops out there, choose wisely !
