Sigh, this customer service is subpar to say the very least. I have the premium plan that comes with 24/7 Phone support, yet no one there ever picks up the phone.

My website went down today. I called in to find out why WP ENGINE did not notify me that they were doing maintenance on my shared hosting plan and the representative had no answer, but we apologize for the inconvenience. Then I called again and the next representative was much more helpful. but still was giving me the same answer that sorry we are doing maintenance, i said why don't you guys do maintenance at midnight or on the weekends. Not during customer hours. I am embarassed that one of my customers had to notify me that my business was showing a 502 ERROR. anyhow it did not go well with the customer service reps. I gave them my phone number to have one of their managers to call me back regarding the inconveniences. Instead the manager sends me an email that I have violated the terms of agreement with WP ENGINE because I was angry with the Staff because my website was down. So they decide to terminate me within 2 weeks. Anyhow everything happens for a reason. You live you learn you move on.

These guys make wordpress rock and roll. You get what you pay for. They've turned my sleepless nights into stable sleep. I've finally found a host that I can run too many plugins, have a dev and a production version and they even house my files in their CDN so I don't have to mess with a 3rd party. I highly recommend and stand by WP Engine. Two Thumbs Way Up!

They started out perfect a few years ago, and like all hosting companies they renegd on commitments, changed my plan without telling me by removing important features and then jacked up pricing to boot. Lost my trust for sure
