if i could give zero stars, that would be too many. I wouldn't recommend SIRVA to anyone. I've been spending the last month trying to get our escrow and mortgage payments fixed due to an error on SIRVA's part. sent an email with a receipt and direct number to the tax collector (not automated like a real live person picks up) and they still can't manage to fix it. spoke with a supervisor who told me that if it wasn't resolved by the following tuesday, to call back, and she would personally escalate it. well i called tuesday and was told she'd call me back and 48+ hours later here we are-no phone call. I understand that EVERYONE is busy but I legitimately sent them everything that they would need and they still can't resolve it. No one takes responsibility for anything and its frustrating. I can't talk with anyone directly in the department and some of the representatives are just so incompetent. some representatives are nice and pleasant but there have been two which have depleted what little faith i had left in humanity. do not use and avoid this company at all cost. People deserve a competent service and SIRVA fails in so many ways. will be bringing up our concerns with my husbands company, who we relocated for and uses SIRVA for their employees. I think they would be horrified to know how poorly run this company is and look to find an alternative company to use in the future.
I refinanced my mortgage recently and couldn't have asked for a more amazing team to work with!!!! They were extremely helpful, patient and professional. Very highly recommend SIRVA!!!!!
We are glad you had such a great experience working with SIRVA Mortgage!

I was first pre-approved in Dec 2021, when they said they would lock the rate. The rate was not locked until March 2022 when it had gone up a whole percentage point. They pre-approved me based on an offer letter from my new employer, and having been playing Calvinball with forms as we approach closing. Everyday I get an email asking for a new document to be provided, each document contains information they have already been provided. Because they were using an old credit report, from December, my loan got to underwriting and they suddenly demanded $50,000 more in down payment, despite having pre-approved the amount AND the fact that I had paid off the debts they were concerned about. I spent an entire morning on two phone calls straightening that out, and then had to waste another half hour gathering up yet more documentation that the debts had been paid. Just this morning I got a form they "need" my new employer to fill out because I am closing before my start date. This form is just a janky .pdf clearly generated from a Word template and verifies the same information that my signed offer letter already contains. It seems their underwriting department does not talk to their lending consultants or loan processors, and doesn't actually have a clear set of guidelines. I get the sense that the underwriters are marginally literate and just making stuff up as they go along. This is the fourth time I have purchased a house, and no other experience has been this arduous and horrible. Don't use these people, I had a better time with WellsFargo and they're literally criminals.
