A truly 5 star hotel! The Langham you did earn my loyalty! The front desk is really helpful. They fix the issue right away for us. Staff are extremely friendly. Special thanks to Rosie and the partner who worked with her on 12/25. The excellent experience and wonderful food give us an unforgettable Christmas! It worths it! Thank you the langham! Overall an underwhelming experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location in Chicago. The ambiance is certainly impressive and small touches like a piano player in the lobby really add to the experience. The room was nice (we stayed on the club level). The finishes in the room were good and the bath products were also nice and luxurious feeling. There were several instances where this hotel left me disappointed. First during check in there was a very long line and the person checking us in seemed rushed and disinterested. The lounge is okay but smells bad and the food offerings are fairly limited for most of the day. When we were checking out we needed to leave for the airport at 3pm and asked when we checked out if we could utilize the lounge until that time. We were told that we could use the lounge until 2pm but after that our access would be revoked. It seems ridiculous to make such a fuss over one hour especially at the price point you are paying to stay here. We had high hopes about this hotel and were excited about our stay, however, moving forward we will likely be staying at The Four Seasons as the service and experience are clearly superior.
