Rachel, Stop harassing me. Your trust issue is NOT MY PROBLEM. You called numerous times to keep confirming confirming and confirming. Once is enough. I had your order in our system. We emailed back and forth multiple times about this cake. I gave you a price and you kept wanting it lower and lower. Its not my fault you have a champagne taste with a beer budget. I wasn't going to forget it with you constantly calling me. I didn't have the chance to send out another confirmation email because it is busy on Saturdays at the shop and I was in the middle of icing cakes and dealing with customers. And for your information, you are the first customer I have had to speak to like this in all my 15 years of being in the food industry and the last owner used to openly SCREAM at people. You don't have to be French to own a French bakery and I am actually half French on my mother's side. I am classically trained and if you ever knew what it is like to work in a REAL French bakery you would know there is a lot of screaming going on. Do you have to be Mexican to own a Mexican restaurant, or Indian to own an Indian restaurant? No you don't, and you should be ashamed of your closed minded thinking to think it has to be a FRENCH PERSON who MUST own a French bakery. I never raised my voice to you and I put up with your shenanigans for too long. All for $50? Not worth the trouble. Worst experience ever and I think people should know the bakery you are eating is from a person who doesn't have a good heart. Cuz, making good bakery should have a good/kind heart to bring happiness to people, especially it called "French bakery", although they changed the owner, the owner now is NOT real French. 1. I live in NY, I order customize cake for my son, the only thing I can communicate is via phone and email. I emailed to this bakery on 7/21, they only reply 1 time with price on 8/7. I called, many times, finally she spoke to me on 8/4. However, even if I called 20 times, but the owner should NEVER say "If you call again, I will NOT make your order". This SHOULD NEVER be an attitude from a baker owner. I believe my attitude was always good and polite, think about it, how can I be rude if I ordered a cake for my son's birthday party?? 2. Fondant cake is $85, out of my budge, so I ordered whipped cream cake on top to make the pattern, not fondant cake anymore. owner said $50 but now she said I beat her down on the price. Questions, if you don't agree, why you accept? Everything is confirmed from your side but now you said I beat you down on the price??? I am not the only person in the world. and you are not the only bakery in Bryn Mawr area. 3.
