Melissa, we responded to multiple social media requests from you after hours etc to try to help in the early part of the process. Ashley met with you on a Friday. We designed and priced the cabinets for you on the spot which is atypical for us. Ashley is off Sundays and Mondays and had a full client load yesterday and I am sorry we were not fast enough for you with your compressed timelines. However, we were over $7k off your stated hard budget and the custom ones were expected to be much more. You indicated that you wanted to discuss this with your husband. But since we were way over your budget with an entry cabinet, why would a custom cabinet quote be warranted? The reality is we went outside our normal consultation, then measure process to help speed the process up for you. Our fault is that she should have ascertained your budget before you came in to let you know we didn't have a product of that fashion, at that price range, for you. I did review the entire interaction on our camera system and your comments on yelp. I also intensely interviewed my staff who were there. Typically I do not respond to factual inaccuracies (including your summation of your interaction with me on social media) but I decided to do so as your reviews were unbalanced and incredibly inaccurate and it impacted my staff negatively.

Didnt have a professional experience dealing with them. After bringing in my measurements, sending pictures of my space, sending pictures in advance of the cabinets I would like, I spent an hour and a half to only be given a quote for cabinets I stated I did not want. While there I ask Ashley if she can fix the mistake and give me a quote for the ones I wanted. She told me she could not at this time and would do it another time. Its been days and No one had called to give me the correct quote nor has anyone responding to my yelp review. Update.-after owners response. Please read yelp review. I didnt have a hard price budget. I had a dream to use their their services and a kitchen. Its odd that this company would feel they accommodated me and went the extra route (outside the normal consultation) to respond to me in the early evening on Facebook an evening prior to my appointment as going above and beyond. Im really sorry that you feel that was a bother as well as listening to what I was looking for. Take note that some companies look for honest feed back of the customer experience as an opportunity to grow. This owner called it inaccurate as well as impacting him negatively. I took no pleasure in writing this as I had a negative experience unfortunately.

I had a wonderful experience working with EKB - specifically with Leah and Matt. I am grateful for their creativity, patience, expertise, and teamwork that helped out project run smoothly. From Leah's countless revisions to Matt being on site every day during install... they really made sure everything was perfect. We have hundreds of options for clients that get into our system. Our base Waypoint has either 2 to 3 doors per grouping and nearly a dozen finishes all at the same price. Our countertops have between 10 and 12 colors for each group as a base option. Not sure we can do better than that for entry level skus with American made product.
