Arrogant and presumptuous. At first the interaction was fine, I was even going to come back and buy a piece of currency and a coin set approx $800 but the refusal of service and the attitude just turned me off. I have some items that in all likelyhood I will sell but considering I have had them for almost a year who knows. At any rate I wanted an appraisal, asked questions and chit chatted. During which I did say I was planning on selling some how. At some point when i asked about the amount I did specifically ask if it would work for a claim if stolen. She said yes it would be the retail value. Eventhough i did not want to sell the offered a price 1300 total which i knew was just for the materials. So I left wanting to think if $145 was worth it. Walking oast some shady types at the bus stop I thought that it would be best to get. Went back in and was refused service. When i asked why and this is when the attitude came in, I was told they dont appraise for "online sales". I replied I wanted for insurance to whit she said we've talked enough. I don't know of anyplace that has the presumption and audacity to tell a client what they can or can't do with their property. I'd give this interaction a -4 stars if I could.
