Hi Kirk, gosh you sound very frustrated which wasn't our intention. So you paid for and had your Level 1 in September 2020 and said you wanted to continue on to the Zero to Hero Course, but just to be clear you hadn't paid for it or bought the voucher so we're all square in that respect. I rarely recommend anyone does two water based one to one lessons back to back, it wasn't a comment exclusive to you, hopefully you would concede that having run a British Kitesports kitesurfing school since 2014 and with 1000 hours of teaching under my belt I'd be well placed to advise on that. The last message I can find from you is October 2020 and you left the WhatsApp group where we publish lesson spaces in April 2021, so I'm a little unclear as to how we let you down as you weren't engaging in booking your Level 2 and further lessons. You also comment that you expect us to run our course over two days, it doesn't say that anywhere on our website and I certainly wouldn't have commented that we would run it like that, because we don't, it's four lessons over four sessions, sometimes lessons 1 and 2 are on the same day. So it's usually at least four visits to us. I pride myself in being honest, direct and customer focused and as you can see we have plenty of very happy customers, so I think perhaps we got off on the wrong foot.

I really wanted to write something positive. But from the get-go I found Christine rude and unbecoming. Id hoped to do the zero to hero course, and expected it to run as one or two whole day sessions. I have flown power kites before, including use of kite buggies, not to mention a keen triathlete and open water swimmer, so all day in the water would be manageable and a lot of fun. Instead its a sporadic mess dragged out over weeks and weeks. When the opportunity to book two sessions back to back came up I jumped at the chance only to be dismissed by a rude you wouldnt last 4 hours message from Christine. From the initial phone call all the way through theres been a distinct lack of effort and clarity. The booking system, or WhatsApp group chat is a shambles. I understand the sport is weather (and now Covid) dependant, but there must be a better way than this. As far as I can see, the only saving grace had been Jayson. He ran through the level one course with me quickly, and understood that I wasnt learning anything I didnt already know. Needless to say I didnt and wont go back.
Ive always wanted to try kitesurfing and finally have it a go. After my first lesson with Christine I was hooked and booked a full course. Christine is a great teacher, really knowledgeable (and patient!). Now Ive got all my kit (which Christine also helped out with) Im ready to continue my kitesurfing adventure!
Kite boarding party training really good stuff, happy students,a small ice cream and coffee canteen which operates near the school,a great footpath on the beach with some very cozy shops and bars as also the best fish and chips shop on the main road.
