We accept this criticism at least in part. We feel it is extremely important that both partners attend the first fertility talk, and can prove that this aspect was indeed mentioned before the appointment. It was an unfortunate escalation at the end of a very busy day which we deeply regret.

I had a traumatic experience with Dr. Singer. He was referred to me by my Dr. and I visited him on 05.12.2022 for the first consultation. He started by gathering information about my back ground including where I am from, where my parents live and the name of my employer amongst other. In the middle of the consultation he mentioned that he would have preferred if my partner was present. I told him that no one informed me of this. He got upset and accused me of insulting him and his team who work so hard. Furthermore, he told me that Arabs have an abrupt way of talking unlike Europeans. Furthermore, he said that his opinion on Arabs is founded on twenty years of experience. As a patient I was very stressed and vulnerable coming to the appointment. I mentioned this at the begging of the consultation. 1. Dr. Singer overreacted to a statement made by a patient which was not meant to offend anyone 2. Dr. Singer used sensitive and private information provide with good will against a patient 3. Dr. Singer criticized a patient based on his race. 4. Dr. Singer mentioned his negative opinion about a race in general No one has the right to talk to anyone like this. The comments by Dr. Singer, to say the least, were inappropriate and degrading especially coming from a medical Dr.

I was only a patient of Dr Singer for a very short time after going to see him for a second opinion after a chemical pregnancy following an FET in another IVF center in Zurich. What I received from Dr Singer was exactly what was missing in the previous center: compassion, understanding, someone who actually listened to me, got the facts correct (you would expect this part everywhere but sadly that wasn't the case), took action, and above all, gave me hope when I had none. I had a natural pregnancy very shortly after my consultation, and cannot fully say whether some prescribed medications made the different to this (so far at 35 weeks) successful pregnancy, but if it hadn't worked out then I would not have hesitated to transfer my frozen embryos to Dr Singer for future FETs, because even after one consultation I trusted him more than the other IVF center. Thank you for treating me with respect and giving me hope!

I entered this clinic for the first time 10 years ago, at the age of 27 and with a huge desire to become a mother. In my case there is no possibility of having children without IVF and let’s be honest, the statistics for IVF treatments are not the best and it’s extremely expensive. I had my first treatment in 2013, implanted 2 embryos and had twins. Dr. Singer ist not only my fertility doctor but for the last 10 years he has also been my gynecologist. Truth be told, I’m Portuguese and a nurse… not the easiest patient. From 2019 to 2022 there were several more unsuccessful attempts, numerous hormones, and treatments that not result in pregnancy. Today I entered his office one more time, I know practically the entire team (doctors, nurses, biologists), I have spoken to all of them a lot over the years, I have laughed and cried few times in his office. I wanted to leave my fair opinion and experience before starting another cycle so that my opinion is not considered just another success story. I would never change doctors, I’ll go further, probably if I returned to Portugal o would return to undergo treatment with him. Sincere, honest and above all very kind and human. Be patient with the appointments, the waiting time, the need to cancel an appointment with 24 hours, the inability to promise that an implantation will generate a pregnancy that you for so long desire… it’s part of the process. I'm a patient of Dr Singer doing IVF. I haven't got the final result of the treatment yet (waiting for the FET result) but I can only highly recommend this clinic. With IVF there is so much that can go wrong at every single step of the way. From infections to overlooked details to wrong protocols, messed up medicines. The follicles, eggs, embryos and blastocysts need to get manipulated despite being so delicate. You can imagine then how much can go wrong at every step. In Dr Singer's clinic though, everyone is so precise, focused, professional. From the doctor to the anesthesiologist to the nurses, staff and biologist! As a consequence I truly trust them all and I feel blessed to be their patient. Finally I have followed protocols that - compared to what I read around - were pretty conservative on the amount and doses of medicines, which I highly appreciated. And last but not least, everyone is very kind and conscientious of how important all this is for the patients. Thanks so much to all of you! Myriam
