Mr. Tran, We apologize for any inconvenience we've created. While our company was dealing with a Covid outbreak, I understand that Mo from our office kept an open channel with you and even answered your multiple phone calls daily. I also know they have scheduled a walk-through with you for this Wednesday. Also, while we realize there must have been a miscommunication 4 to 5 days for a complete extended shower remodel, countertop fabrication and installation are a bit far-fetched. We had to 1- Demolish your existing shower. 2- Remove your tub and tub surround. 3- Extend your shower. 4- Install backer board. 5- Waterproof your walls. 6- Redo your shower pan. 7- Cancel and redirect your plumbing. 8- Remove and haulaway existing tile. 9- Install new 24x48 tile. 10- Template for countertops. 11- Remove the existing top. 12- Install new Quartz. 13- Install sinks. 14- Install a new free-standing tub. From my understanding, everything went well without a problem except for some misguided expectations. We are a flooring company, and nowhere in your contract or our discussions did we promise you that we will be installing your bathroom fixtures. Towel and toilet paper handles are not our responsibilities. Also, per your contract, we do not caulk or paint touch up that is a painter's job. Finally, Mr. Tran, as you can see from our previous reviews and the work and prices we provided you, here at Modish Designs, we are always trying to help our customers. We always try to go above and beyond in our services. While we respect your honest opinion, it is unfair to misguide our future customers and leave a public review that misconstrues what we are responsible for and what you are trying to force us to do. Thank you
I have my restroom remodel in December and was promised it would only take 4-5 days max. Now, it's January and still not completed. I called them so many times and even asked for the owner. Still waiting for someone to call back to communicate what needed to do in completing the project because the grout is very dirty, tub is not glue down, missing wall plug cover, missing toilet paper holder, missing towel bar and other incomplete tasks.
GREAT experience! I had relatively minor damage (my vinyl wood floor was destroyed and my lower kitchen cabinets were damaged) from the freezing storm this February and first had a terrible experience dealing with a different company. Because my job was not really a big one, no one wanted to give me the time of day. A friend of mine told about modish designs and got me in touch with the Owner. In spite of the fact that modish was just as busy as everyone else, he treated me like I was equally important as a 100k job. Not only did Modish end up saving me about 30% over the previous company I dealt with but he finished at least a month before the other company would have. Great prices, great work, great company. Highly recommend.
