I gave this office a second chance and this time around was worst than the first time. With all the respect your office deserves, but I will never ever use you guys and/or recommend this office. 1- Took a month to get a trial of new prescription contact lenses. They said it will take 5 days and I had to call by 3rd week to ask on an update and took another 5 days to get them. 2- Took another month to get actual prescription, doctor was not available to sign and was to be mailed. ad to call for the actual copy to be emailed instead. 3- They sent me a prescription with wrong brand and expired. They re-send prescription and was wrong once again (Product name and Sphere). If you wear contacts you know how vital is to have right product name (Toric in this case) listed and Sphere! Totally unprofessional!
I was trying to make an appointment and I could beat the front desk lady just talking and laughing with her coworker and then she proceeded to hang up on me, made an appointment with Americas best instead.
On February 13, I visited this place for a new eye glasses. I am on Medicare and medicare covers the part of the cost for the new glasses. I took my prescription with me and asked them to make me a progressive lens. I was told that medicare would cover the cost of the frame but I would have to pay $190 for the lens. I agreed and paid the $190 the same day. My glasses were ready within a week and worked fine. However, when I received a monthly statement from my insurance company, it mentioned that Corona Vision had billed them for $190 but they denied the payment. My reason for writing here is, why Corona Vision billed my insurance company when they had already collected the amount from me on a very first day? I talked to the insurance company and their answer was Corona Vision did not get paid. They said it was a standard billing practice. I felt that Corona Vision should not have billed them since they already collected the money from me. I smell something fishy here. That's all.
