Bob was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. We scheduled an appointment with Volunteer Mold and Indoor Air Quality after reading positive reviews of the business online. Bob Byrne arrived on time to test the air in our home. He began with an initial walk-through of each room, even into our attached garage, looking for any obvious issues that would affect air quality. Then he used an infrared meter to check for signs of moisture in the walls, ceiling, and floors. He then took three air samplesone from a common room, one from a bedroom where there was microbial activity suspected, and an exterior control sampleand one surface swab. After the appointment, Bob sent the samples to a lab in Oak Ridge, and had the results back within 24 hours. When Bob emailed the lab analysis sheets, he also clearly explained the results. He offered suggestions on things we might do to improve the air quality (deep cleaning with vinegar, having our air ducts cleaned), but he never tried to sell us additional services. He is very friendly and even took the time to interact with our 5-year-old son and explain how his equipment worked. The inspection for our 2200-square-foot home cost $300. The four tests (3 air and 1 swab) each cost $80. These are the same prices Bob had quoted over the phone. He is trustworthy, and I recommend his service.

Bob was an amazing help! We had a contractor cut granite inside of our home which then contaminated our home with crystalline silica dust. Bob took the time to research our problem and do the proper testing! We are grateful for his help and guidance!
