My experience was not the best. I asked then to hold a 55 towable boom for me which they did. I picked it up approx 4 pm on a Saturday. I arrived on the job site and placed the machine for the work. I pushed the button to lower the outriggers and level the machine. The outriggers lowered, but not enough to unhitch my truck. I called the rental center at 5:40 and there was no answer. I left a message explaining I was having a problem and needed some help. There is a box where the operating manual should be but it was empty. I wasn't having any luck with the equipment so I decided to return it. I brought it back to the store at 6:30 PM and was able to unhitch the truck (maybe it was easier here due to the ground being level but I don't know that for sure) I put the key in the box where the operating manual should have been. I NEVER received a return call. The equipment was unused. I called when they opened Monday morning at 7:30 and told they where I had put the key and requested a refund. ( I had paid for two days upfront) I was told they would look into it and get back to me. I hadn't heard from them by 4 PM so I called and was told that Justin had gone home sick and to call back tomorrow. I called late morning the following day and was told there was a minimum of a days rental and they wouldn't refund that. I asked if they would in lieu of the refund give me a credit to use in the future and that was also refused. Bottom line....if you rent here expect ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT. You're on your own. I feel I was royally screwed out of 460.00 and will never do business with them in the future.
These guys are great!! Only my second time going there and man they have a customer for life!!! The first time the service was helpful and wonderful! And the second time the road were bad and I got my truck stuck on the ice in the back area. Would you believe they helped me get it out!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!
My husband called this morning to see if we could return a machine bc im sick, we used it for 2 hours and wanted to return it for a full day today and come back the next day and finish the hours we paid for , I understand the inconvenience but the lady who answered didn't seem to care that I was sick and throwing up . Don't rent from this company if you have a family , things come up and they should be more then happy to work with you , but they were not ! Now I'm home trying not to get my kids sick while taking care of them while he finishes the job today . Whatever happened to people having a little humility for others :(
I own a lawncare company and rented a seed slicer at 2:45 in the afternoon. After the machine wouldnt work I went back to change it out at 3:45. I wasnt able to return it by5:30 closing time so it was returned at opening the next morning and was charged an additional $44. Ive done business with them for about five years and after this will not be going back.
