DO NOT go here! Zero star establishment. They have rude and terrible staff, especially the woman named Heather who will argue with you about billing, which is immediately a red flag. Their $75 exam is a joke and they do not listen to their patients' requests in order to make more money. Let me explain. My wife called and scheduled my appointment and asked about the costs. They informed us it would be $75 out of pocket, since I did not want to use my insurance. I come in for my appointment a couple days later and as I head to the check out at the desk, I have my card out ready to pay. I tell the receptionist that I am ready to pay the $75 and she clearly informs me that there is no charge and I can go. I then tell her I am not using my insurance, yet she stills tell me I'm good to go. I leave confused, but assume they will send me a bill for the $75 later in the mail. Fast forward to today. I hadn't heard a word from them and today I receive a bill for from MY INSURANCE for a higher amount for this appointment. I calmly call them to figure out why they billed my insurance when I had clearly asked them not to. The receptionist hands the phone over to a very snarky Heather. I explain the situation to her and she immediately tells me that she can't do anything about it because my visit has been over 60 days. My wife heard the whole thing (uh oh) and wanted to speak to Heather to better understand. Heather got defensive and rambled on about how the check out receptionist does not know anything about billing. WHAT? You heard that right. Why would you hire someone and not train them how to "check someone out" properly and proceed to not take responsibility? She continued rambling on about how it was herself who wrote yada yada down, but still did not take responsibility. No apology. Just arguing about how they can't do anything and making excuses. I have not a clue or interest in what she was rambling on about. None of this is my fault, so the excuses are just unnecessary. RED FLAG. I instantly knew they must have dealt with this issue many times before because she responded very quickly and didn't even have to look into anything. I 100% believe they purposefully did this because they waited until 60 days after my appointment to bill my insurance, which is why I received a bill almost 4 months after my appointment. And by doing this, they were able to make $274 from insurance versus me paying $75 flat rate. Unbelievable. Bring your business elsewhere!
Absolute low class trash. They were as unprofessional and low skilled as it gets. Do not waste your time. There are plenty of quality Optometrist with designer frames and good customer service. Bling Was outright dishonest about my coverage of little did they know I knew my benefits. The Eye exam wasn't even full scope and customer service was TERRIBLE.
